Small motel with 8 rooms. We had two on the end with the rest of our family. Quiet, clean. refrig, TV, everything we needed. Small diner is part of the establishment and we had a great breakfast. Ice Cream the night before was a bonus. We felt very at home and owners were super. It is not fancy but this... More

We booked knowing it was going to be an experience. First of all, the price was right. We spent two nights, traveling with another couple for snowmobiling, which was great. The groomers did a terrific job. The rooms are a little outdated but extremely clean. The owners were very friendly and so was the staff. We had plenty of heat... More

My husband and I stopped in after a long weekend of hiking and were on our way back home. Mind you we stopped in at 10am on a Sunday and they were packed. The place is small but the atmosphere lends itself to sharing big tables or eating at the counter, typical diner. The wait staff was great and were... More

Spent 2 days over the 4th weekend. I was disappointed to find there was no AC. There was a fan but it didn't seem to work very well. Couldn't get a cross breeze because bathroom window wouldn't open. Needless to say, it was high 80s during the day and the room was a hot box. 1st night was miserably hot... More

Rooms are basic, dated with no a/c. The owners are great! They cook the food in the diner and are very helpful with any request. They have Wi-Fi but you must ask for the pass-code. The diner has a ice-cream stand connected and open until about 9pm. The location of Motel and service are above average. The cost of our... More

We've just returned from a fantastic road trip around North East USA. While travelling through the Adirondacks we came across the Stone Manor Motel & Diner and decided to give it a go, which turned out to be a very good decision. The rooms, although basic, were more than adequate and the warm welcome we got beats any large chain... More

Loved the easy access to the beautiful hiking trails and wilderness areas in this amazing region of the Adirondacks. The food is excellent (especially the burgers) and the atmosphere of the diner with the new owners is wonderful. Very nice folks, both the staff and the locals! I also purchased a few great locally made goodies to bring home. I'l... More

Run, don't walk to this very special place in Cranberry Lake, NY. Tremendous breakfast menu and order the home fries or hash. The breads and rolls are homemade and are terrific tasting. The plates are overflowing and your coffee cup is never empty. The owners work the kitchen and tables - it doesn't get much better than this for breakfast... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled on the northern edge of Cranberry Lake, we're right on the snowmobile trail system (Trail C8 to S89)! Cranberry is the third largest lake in the Adirondacks with oodles of places to explore! Stone Manor Motel & Diner starts serving coffee at 5:30am 7 days a week! Our room rates and diner menu are affordable... the home-made hash, maple glazed cinnamon buns, sausage biscuits and gravy, burgers, Friday fish dinners, soups and sandwiches, BBQ dinners and fresh coffee are all favorites! Cranberry Lake is the place to go when you want to get back to nature... there aren't any theme parks or malls - it's all about the fishing, hiking, boating, camping, hunting, snowmobiling and skiing. An abundance of trails allow for great photography too! However, it's not so remote that you won't enjoy fine dining and good company - worth the visit any time of year! ... more   less
