We stayed here in July and what an awesome time! The campground is big and has water front sites right on the lake. There is a nice beach area on the lake for swimming and picnicking. The bathrooms are very cleanly (and the showers too!). There was not any cell phone reception at our site which was nice! It was... More

We stayed for two nights here. The only unfortunate thing about our stay was the poor weather conditions, which meant that we weren't able to fully explore our surroundings. The site we stayed in was nice and we will book this particular site again in the future. I was also happy to have read the review about sites 22/23: there... More

We did not stay at this campsite, but did the Bear Mountain hike, which was pretty easy and pleasant. I believe the whole hike is one mile or maybe even less. We happened to end up at the campsite and it seemed like a very nice campsite. The hike can be done by most people. If you return on the... More

We've stayed at Cranberry Lake a number of times since I was a kid in the early 1970's with my parents. I now bring my kids and my girlfriend. Most sites are fairly private but a bad windstorm in the 1990's knocked down a lot of trees so privacy is less than before the storm. The beach is ok but... More

I really enjoyed staying here. The campgrounds were nice and the showers were well maintained. Hot water was available in the bathrooms, and all the water is treated. The staff was helpful and courteous. The night shift guy was a nice piece of eye candy, I wish I could have borrowed him for the night! ;) I will definitely be... More

We stayed at the lodge the first night. The lodge's rooms are very comfortable. They have a boat rental area, a restaurant, and a general store. Then next 2 nights we camped at Joe Indian island, camp ground #19. There is plenty of shade and a small pier for a boats. The camp has a lot of things already in... More

We had sight 95 which was a very nice waterfront sight with a small beach area. The campground was nice, and the facilities were okay. Could have been a bit cleaner, especially the showers, but hey, we're camping. I did think that the camp sights were a bit too close. Of course that could have been because several of our... More

We just came back from three nights camping at cranberry lake campground. We found the campsite a little disappointing regarding the locations of the sites. We had a site that was RIGHT next to us, with no coverage or any trees seperating the two sites (22/23). Although this would be perfect for two or more groups, this is incredibly close... More

We had a lovely time camping here for the first time! I found a terrific site on the water through Reserve America less than two weeks before we went. I don't know why someone said the sites were cramped because I didn't see any cramped sites. The lake is large and beautiful. It would be nice to have a motor... More
