Seriously, anyone who thinks this is a 5 star hotel, is either a complete moron or never traveled before. That being said, it is certainly adequate for any travel (business or leisure) in the area. It is clean, there is free breakfast, and free internet. There is a really weak fitness room, but I'm not going to complain. In fact,... more

We stayed here for the second time during the Open House for Cortland. It is conveniently located to the campus, and right off the Interstate (but not so close that you hear a thing). In the lobby area, a variety of complimentary snacks and coffee/tea are laid out for you upon arrival in the spacious, inviting lobby. Check-in was friendly... more

Stayed one night - a Friday night for a test in Cortland on Saturday. It was a quick trip - I arrived at 5pm on Friday and was greeted by Heather. She was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely and is kept very nicely. Between 5-9 they set out cheese and crackers as well as some desserts. While... more

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. We live almost 2 hours away and this is a perfect way to spend quality family time in the dead of winter without spending a lot. We usually go to Greek Peak Ski Resort nearby, but this time the kids just wanted to "hang" at the hotel. We checked... more

We didn't plan far enough ahead for parent's weekend at Cornell, so all the decent Ithaca hotels were booked. Since I'm a big fan of Hampton Inns, we decided to try this one. It's about a 30 minute drive to Cornell - not too bad. This was a very nice Hampton Inn - no five-star luxury, but everything you need... more

I usually like Hampton Inns, but I wasn't happy with this particular hotel. It is clean, for the most part. I did find hair on the pillows, but I try not to freak out at that anymore, it happens more and more. The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size. Now to my issues with this hotel:... more

This place is fantastic. Expensive, but great because they have free buffet breakfast. There's plenty of cereal, yogurt, oj, coffee, and toast. No meat, but not too bad. The pool is clean, and pretty good. The washrooms have mirrors inside. Really clean. They got a wall showing celebrates who stayed there. I stayed for 5 days. more

Just spent a night at the Cortland Hampton Inn en route to upstate New York. As this property has just come on line in the last year or so, it all still looks pretty new. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the staff was welcoming and helpful (including a welcome bag with cookies and bottled water.) A sigular complaint... more

Just returned from 2 overnight stays within 10 days at the Hampton Inn in Cortland,NY and was very satisfied with our stays. The hotel is immaculate, updated and stylish and with the wonderful Hampton beds. We had a king room with sleeper sofa and bed, sofa, carpet and furniture were all new. We stay in hotels approx. 7-10 times a... more
