My friend and I decided we wanted to go to NYC last minute so finding a "not-so-expensive-hotel" was tough. We didn't have high hopes for the hotel but our 2 night stay was unexpectedly pleasant. Yes, there are loud trains passing but it wasn't a bother. The staff was SUPER friendly and the rooms were immaculate. The bathrooms were surprisingly... More

On arrival,we were met by a friendly receptionist it was a quick check in but become a little awkward when she started complaining about her job, it wasnt necessary. The room was lovely two big beds,we didn't hear any noise as previously mentioned in other comments, had a really god night sleep. We checked out early and availed of the free shuttle... More

Perfect hotel for US open stay. Just a couple of blocks away to the US Open. The room was clean and looked much better than what we were expecting. Free Parking and were kind enough to let us leave the car parked for the day even after we checked out. Breakfast is limited but works if you just want to... More

We stayed here for two nights. It was clean, friendly and efficient. Yes, it was close to the subway #7 line ( to Times Square) , but it was great for walking to the US OPEN. Couldn't ask for a better location. Great local ethnic restaurants, such as Antonio's pizza, and Torta Neza ( the truck). THE BEST TORTAS AND... More

I probably should have read the TripAdvisor reviews first; could have spared myself the horrendous night I spent at this hotel. Like many, I booked after a canceled flight at LGA. Booking.com (which I will also never use again) indicated positive ratings. What a bunch of hooey. Horrible location. A room immediately off the lobby with all kinds of stuff... More

We stayed at the Corona after our flight was cancelled at LGA. We found it on Booking.com and picked it because of being close to the airport, a shuttle to and from the airport and price. The hotel is located next to an elevated train which is very loud. The neighborhood is pretty seedy and would not recommend for single... More

After another cancelled flight I ended up at the Corona. While booking through Booking.com I saw the Corona listed as 3.5 stars not bad. What I didn't know according to Booking. com is that a hotel can be awful and still be 3.5 stars on their rating. Here are the highlights. At check-in there we more then 10 guest groups... More

Generally good stay. Boring breakfast , limited choices and small eating area. Rooms above the 5th floor on car park side of hotel is good. Has somewhat of a city view . Don't book roadside rooms as subway track can be noisy. Basically operated by indians and some hispanic influence. Noise on corridors at late night , appears to be... More
