Welcome to New York! If you'd like to pay upwards of $250 a night for a hotel in Manhattan by all means go ahead. But if you're looking to explore NYC a low-to-moderate cost, stay here. The rooms are always clean as is the hotel itself. It is in Corona, Queens, and right next to the 7 train. However despite... More

Despite of all good things, the amiability of some of the staff left a lot to desire, they weren't really kind, except for the personal at the reception. Although, the beds were really comfortable, there was a beautiful view from the room, and the location was perfect because it was near to the train station which was very convenient.

Selected the Corona Hotel based on reviews and proximity to LGA. We arrived after dark by taxi from JFK. We knew immediately we would not go out for dinner - hotel entrance under train tracks and the area looked really seedy. In the daylight, however, it looked a little better. Check in is on lower level and entrance to that... More

I thought the hotel was nicer than I was expecting. The rooms were very clean, the shuttle to LaGuardia only runs on the hour every hour so expect to wait a little bit. I did use the "Lyft" phone app to get a ride a couple times into Manhattan due to the amount of stops the subway makes. The staff... More

We chose the Corona because it was close to the airport, had free parking and free Wi-Fi and was one of the less over-priced hotels in the area. For a short stay it was okay. If I had to describe it in one word I'd probably call it seedy. Reception gave the impression that they were bored with their job... More

The hotel was ok, except the funny smell in the room every time we entered. The location is bad (Queens), poor neighborhood, which we knew, so no surprise there. Service was good. Close to a subway station.

Here's a perfect example that "not everything on the Internet is true". Booked this hotel through Booking.com based on photos and reviews. Flew into NY from Europe, arrived at the hotel around 12:30am and checked out at 7:00am this morning. Rooms smelled of gas, rap music and loud partying until 4am, what appeared to be blood stains on business partners... More

This hotel has nothing exceptional, just a place to sleep. CONS: **Indian girl at reception needs a crash course on customer service and speaking to travelers. She is not a true representation of this hotel. **Breakfast is just that , something to keep you up until you visit a café or deli for something suited to your palate. **Passing no.7... More

The hotel itself is not so bad, but it is really close to thee train, which is REALLY noisy. In case you have to go, ask for a room looking to the rear part. Location: close to airport, in Queens. Beds comfortable. Breakfast: really bad.

The hotel itself is great.large enough rooms that were really clean. The front desk was so helpful in helping us with the subway. We actually made it to the Bronx without getting lost. The parking was not extra as most are. We always stay here when in New York. The subway is a half block from the hotel and will... More
