The wife and I stayed one night at this god forsaken dump because there was no where else to spend the night. No hot water,no WiFi,no coffeemaker,no shampoo,no phone,no clean towels, bed sheets loaded with hair (not from a head) from the previous occupant.( or occupants) The owner of this hell hole was a real piece of cake himself. Spending the... More

It makes a change from the chain budget motels. Bit more character. But the kids weren't too impressed with the facilities, lack of WiFi and poor TV. Well cleaned but very worn. Comfy but noisy beds! We had our own pillows which was good too. The owner was certainly a "character". Not particularly helpful but warmed up to almost friendly... More

This is a throwback, once standard roadside attraction now demoted to budget special, but not nearly as timeworn as the body I rested comfortably there for three nights on a recent visit -- 700 cable TV stations but no wifi; clothes hangers on a rod but no closet; no attached food or beverage establishments but plenty within walking distance; barely... We tried to reserve for a weekend but ran into the roadblock called Albert, the owner. The rules for reserving are archaic, no possibility of booking online, no credit cards so won't hold the room until he receives a money order or cheque through snail mail. Communications with him both on the phone and by e-mail were difficult. Questions were... More

Albert was the rudest individual I have ever dealt with. He hung up on me and two others that we plan to travel with. We were simply asking questions that we felt were relevant and it annoyed him. He told us that he does not need our business and does not want us staying at his motel. (I think he... More

The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Gave directions and tips on HOF weekend. Sent out nice email and couldn't be more helpful. Place was antiquated but so are most of the in town motels/inns. Would stay there again

Where do I begin??? 1. Office- dirty, arrogant, wouldn't show room, cash only, handed us the tv remote ( like we'd take it), 2. Room- NO WiFi, no room phone, stayed during NLDS and couldn't even watch it on TV, smelled of mold, thin sheets over a very old springy mattress, dirty floors, old and inefficient AC, dirty drapes, in... I had the unfortunate experience to stay here Sept 15/14. I didnt read reviews before I left. Here goes-No credit cards, no shampoo, no phone, no fridge, no coffee maker, no wifi, no nada. The walls are so thin that the man next door kept me awake with his snoring. The owner is sarcastic, no- it- all jerk. I would never... More

I wouldn't even stay here if it was for free. The NASTY ATTITUDE and complete SARCASM this staff has. All I did was ask a question and they jumped down my throat telling me that their hotel was not for me and I should stay in a big chain hotel and commute to the town on my own as needed.I... More

only took check - up front. not very clean, was dirty... Might have been vacuumed last year. No extras, unless you consider the newspaper on bed at end of day and spare roll of toilet paper as extras. very few rooms rented for two of the nights we were there, and yet they had to book the only other customer...
