Stayed here after staying one night up the street at the Cooperstown Motel(never again). it is like night and day. Clean, friendly, quiet. fridge, coffee maker, bathroom was nicely tiled on floor, bed was very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Within easy walking distance to the distillery and BB Hall... More

My wife 4 kids and myself needed a place to check in with no notice. I was ecstatic to get 3 queen beds for the 150$ where other places forced us to get 2 rooms. Quaint, quiet and just a solid place to stay for the night. Left our truck there the whole next day while we took in the... More

Within walking distance of the town. Very clean and comfortable with quality but dated furniture. Set a little back off the street so doesn't really seem like a motel. Not at all expensive, especially when compared to regular hotels in Cooperstown with their eyewateringly high prices. Excellent place if you are on a budget.

The Mohican is a family-owned motel on the outskirts of Cooperstown Village. It is an excellent basic motel for a visit -- not much in the way of frills, but very clean and well maintained. Given that Cooperstown is the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame and other museums, plus summer opera and outdoor recreational opportunities, who wants to... More

We stayed one night here passing through from the Ommegang Brewery tour to visit the Fennemore Museum. A basic old style motel in a residential neighborhood. Clean and our room smelled fine, but all a little dated and tired. But better than anything else we saw driving around. Location is good, about a 15 minute walk to the Hall of... More

After driving for nearly twelve hours, my family was expecting a nice place to get a little R&R for the night. However, after arriving at the Mohican Motel, we quickly realized that that would not be the case. First off- the smell. It is so repulsive, we had to keep the door open and spray a bottle of cologne. And... More

I agree with the other reviewers…our room was clean & this is a basic older motel, I loved the knotty-pine walls as it took me back to motels of my younger days. A little more then I like to pay for a Mom/Pop motel but there were events going on as w/any free enterprise, prices go up. It fit the... More

Other reviews are largely accurate and led me to book one Room for one night for me and my family here. Very clean rooms, furniture/decor is old but not cheap. Hard to describe but clean and very usable. It's a motel and for what it is, it's great. Right off trolley system, so visiting museums is as simple as possible.... More

This is a very basic motel that's a nice 10 minute walk to Main St. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Good value. Would stay there again.

We had connecting rooms with 3dbl beds. We had stopped and checked prices at different hotels about 20 miles out. Mohican was very reasonable priced, comfortable, close to museum, clean and Heidi the front desk manager was very helpful. Older hotel and no coffee at the motel but Stewart's has great coffee and is right down the street.
