I have stayed 3 times now with Jim and Charlene at 1805 Phinney House. This Inn is part of the original Phinney farm, where the historic Doubleday Field is now located. (I play ball there with the Baltimore Orioles baseball camp) My room has a view of the field, which is important to me as a baseball nut. The room... more

Jim and Charlene are great hosts. The house is well maintained and the food is excellent. We have stayed there every year for the last five years and always look forward to our next visit. It is within walking distance to just about everything worth seeing or doing while visiting Cooperstown. Try it, you'll like it. more

Jim and Charlene are great hosts. We alway enjoy our stay at the Phinney House. The breakfasts are delicious. The room was pleasant and clean. Close to downtown so you can walk to the Hall of Fame. Thanks for another great week in Cooperstown. more

The 1805 Phinney House innkeepers, Jim & Charlene, welcome you into their home and family. My wife and I have been staying at the 1805 Phinney House for a week every August for the past five years. The day always starts with Charlene's perfectly prepared homemade breakfast served by Jim in the comfortable dining room. Each bedroom has a private... more

This past summer marked the third year my husband and I have been staying at the 1805 Phinney House during Hall of Fame weekend. We plan to return for years to come. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every visit to Cooperstown, due to the hospitality, comfort, and kindness found at 1805 Phinney House. In addition to the owners’ attention to detail and... more

In the late winter, early spring of 2008, my wife and I came across the 1805 Phinney House in 2008 when we were planning to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame and go to the Glimmerglass Opera. As it turned out, we were very fortunate to have selected the Phinney House amongst several B& B's in the area. We were greeted... more

Jim and Charlene Vroonman offer a warm and delightful Bed & Breakfast just a very short walk to Hall Of Fame's front door. Free parking, no smoking rooms and a gourmet caliber breakfast are just a few of the high points of our stay. In addition, Jim and Charlene go above and beyond to create a truly memorable Cooperstown experience.... more
