We are looking forward to next years visit already.I don't think you could ask for any better treatment. The hotel is located on otsego lake and has lovely growns with it own... more

I am comfortable with a wide range of properties and have stayed everywhere from the Four Seasons George V Paris to roadside motels and find charm in many places. Otesaga has the most consistently rude staff and management all the way up to the Assistant General Manager. Upon arrival you are greeted by surely desk staff who will tell you... more

A friend and I spent this past weekend at the Otesaga and it was a great experience. We arrived well before the normal check-in time (3pm) on Saturday but our room was made ready and we were allowed to go inside. The room was clean and spacious and came just as advertised. We ate all of our meals inside the... more

On a beautiful October weekend we celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary at the Otesaga. After reading the reviews in TripAdvisor, we were mildly apprehensive, but our experience suggested that the authors of the two unflattering reviews must have had the misfortune of an anomalous experience. We found the entire staff to be gracious, professional, friendly and helpful. Our room, which... more

Amazing arrogant, condescending and obnoxious management. All attitude and no substance. Great hotel if you want overflowing toilets and no response. Great hotel if you want to wait online for breakfast like the buffet at a college dining hall. Great hotel if you want lousy wait service in the dining room and restaurant. Supposedly 4 star. I give it 1.... more

A grand and classy resort hotel complete with ubiquitous service. The views of Otsego Lake are mesmerizing (it's alternative name, Glimmerglass, is well-deserved) and the Otesaga takes full advantage of it from the rooms and grounds. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Our standard two-bed room included two walk-in closets. The huge bathroom included two sinks, although shower pressure was... more

We just returned from a 2 night golf vacation at the Otesaga Hotel. Simple stated, everything was top notch, including food, service, golf course facilities, etc. Now a comment for those who have written about children not being welcomed. Not true at all. During our stay 99% of the children were well behaved and about 1% were obviously brought up... more

We visited the Otesaga for a three-day golf vacation spiced by an afternoon at the Glimmerglass opera – courtesy of a Christmas gift certificate from our children. We’ve done the Italian lakes hotels including Villa d’Este and the Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees, as well as the Austrian lakeside retreat of Hotel Schloss Fuschl – so our standards for lakeside... more

The Otesaga is a throw back to a different place and time in the best of ways! Copperstown is one of the most beautiful villages in America, and the Otesaga---situated on the lake front is the most beautiful place in the town to stay! more

My family just got back from celebrating my father's 70th birthday at the Otesaga. While I have to say that I have stayed at a number of better places, the Otesaga did fit the bill for the occasion. If you accept it for what it is, you will be sure to have a delightful stay. The hotel is a very... more
