A truly beautiful spot, but for the kind of prices they charge I would expect there to be nicer beds, sheets and pillows. I've stayed at chain hotels and had better bedding. The hotel was not very full, and our "discounted" price was $265. We were put in a room directly over a wedding reception that was quite loud. Luckily... more

The Otesaga Resort is one of the most beautiful places to stay and unwind. Otsego lake is a serene backdrop for a historic and carefully maintained hotel. The staff will go the extra mile to provide anything needed for your comfort. Even the few children that visit the hotel seem to know to behave. I really can't wait to visit... more

Our recent stay at the Otesaga was most injoyable. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were met with courtesy, grace and charm. The room accommodations were splendid and the dining services superb. The Otesaga is to be contratulated for its excellent standards and impeccable quality and the staff is to be commended for its personalized... more

Just back from the Otesage we thought the grounds and the building were stunning. This is where is stopped. The front desk is totally unprofessional for the money they charge. I have travelled extensively and have stayed in some of the worlds best. I have also stayed in moderate hotels that are clean and friendly. There is nothing friendly about... more

At $700 a night all in, this is certainly the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in outside of a major city. And Cooperstown, New York is certainly not London or Paris. First the good stuff: Our room was large, clean and spacious. The bedding was fresh and comfortable. The decor was pleasant. We had dinner the first night... more

Just got back from two nights- July 4th week-end. The hotel was only half filled. The front desk put us in a large room but unfortunately it was across from the elevator. The dinging of the stops continued all night long and then very early in the morning, the children and their parents (trying to control the kids) start talking... more

From the minute you walk through the door you are barraged with incredible service. The staff is friendly and attentive, the room with its view of the lake was very luxurious and well appointed. A relaxing evening of drinks and the flicking lights reflecting off the lake from the porchmade the trip complete. We will be back. more

While this resort is clean, beautiful and conveniently located, the service was notably lacking. We attempted to get food - any food after 10:00 pm and there is nothing available - not even a vending machine. We only wanted bread or crackers for our daughter and had to go without. The room brochures say there is food available in a... more

Beautiful resort welcoming you to the quaint historic, and picturesque town of Cooperstown, NY----making you still as though you have stepped back in time. Outstanding service, friendly staff, lovely rooms, clean and updated, excellent meals included with package rate, and panoramic views of the village and lake depending on your room preference. Couldn't have asked for a better place to... more

Service Charge: A $16.00 per person per day service charge is added to your Hotel account. ($10.00 for children ages 4 & under.) This service charge is distributed to the room attendant and the dining room personnel for services rendered. Enough said. We will not be staying here anytime soon. It should be my choice to tip as I see... more
