Has soap, shampoo, clock, nice tv w/remote. most rooms only have shower. In walking distance to hall of fame, restaurants, pubs. great views of lake, also has boat tours,... more

GREAT place with the best location in town. Beautiful views from the room, nice restaurant, friendly staff, super price! You can't beat this. We could walk everywhere. We loved the location and the setting. Rooms are very clean, altho small. Didn't matter to us as we were out seeing the town and the attractions! We will stay again if returning... more

This is the best location in Cooperstown! You can stay right on the lake, and the Hall of Fame is two blocks up the road. I thought the room was nice and reasonably priced. I would definately stay there again. more

this hotel seemed to offer everything we needed at first glance. we had to be in cooperstown for a wedding in july 2008. when I called six months in advance I was surprised to hear they needed a check within 10 days of making the reservation, no credit card. since my whole family was staying we decided to send the... more

Having stayed at the Lake Front as a child, I went back there with my son for partly nostalgic reasons. But having been back there for the first time in 20 years, I'm somewhat surprised by some of the negative reviews. I sometimes wonder if we, as Americans, are spoiled as it seems that anything less than 5-star amenities are... more

Yes, the view is incredible and it is very close to the heart of Cooperstown, and the young lady at the counter was very nice. At that point the positives end. The room we had was tiny. The bath room ridiculously small with just a shower that was so small I literally had to get out of the shower to... more

First, the pluses. The property is literally one block away from the Baseball Hall of Fame, Main St. and all the other glorious bits of Cooperstown. We were given the lake-view room we were promised, and the room was almost completely spotless. Now the semi-negatives. The decor of the motel as a whole is really dated. The nautical theme is... more

The view and location are great but the amenities and staff are well below average. The room is a nice size but the bathroom is unusually small. The surroundings are lovely but there is alot of noise. If you enjoy living in an RV than you might find this motel to be just fine otherwise you may want to check... more

The Lakefront Motel is a great place to stay if you want to visit Cooperstown, NY. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The rooms were very clean, bathroom included. It was the ideal place to be when visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. You leave your car parked in the lot of the Motel and walk up the hill, 2 blocks. Very... more

My husband and I go to this Motel every year on our anniversary. It is very beautiful. It is not a "four star" luxury place; but it is in the center of town within walking distance to everything. They have a fabulous new boat tour The Glimmerglass Queen. For an hour you travel around Otsego Lake; it is mostly private... more
