Was not a 5 star, however bed was comfortable and AC worked, and that's all I needed. The price was OK for an overnight. Literature in the office for a pizza resturant, and when I went there the business had been closed for what appeared a long time. Hotel manager gave me the room key and it did not work... More

When we first got there we were worried based on the outside looks but the room was very nice. Overall its a good value if you're traveling with kids and need a cheap but decent place to stay and not looking for anything fancy. Pros: shower had plenty of pressure and hot water; room was very clean; WiFi worked very... More

Stayed 6/7/14 - in area to watch grandson at the Dream Park. Certainly nothing fancy compared to being in a larger city - but, it was convenient, clean outside property, rooms were adequate although seemed small, so-called continental breakfast was not inviting - would stay there again if in the area for the Dream Park..otherwise, would look elsewhere.

Before making a reservation, check to see if the shower works. Ours didn't, and the small tub was very difficult for an old man. The soap was also dry and broken. Otherwise, not a bad bargain. There were plenty of towels (often a problem even in better hotels) The mattresses were comfortable (though the beds were a bit short), and... More

This would have been acceptable value if the shower was operating. The room was clean and beds comfortable but we could not take a shower since the shower did not function. The bath tub was small for anyone over 5 ft tall, so not an acceptable alternative. Motel response to issue was not helpful. Also, no hairdryer and the heating... More

This is an old fashioned motel. What you see is what you get when you pull into the drive way. No frills at all. We checked in and went to the Baseball Hall of Fame (which took less than 3 hours) slept and left Cooperstown in the AM. The room was $150 and NOT worth it.

This is a no frill motel, but it is clean. Sink was situation separate from the toilet and shower which I found kind of strange. This is a good place to stay if you just need to stay overnight and is very close to downtown Cooperstown. I would bring a wife or girlfriend here, kind of place you stay overnight... More

I got this motel at half the price of the national chains down the street and some of the name brand hotels in Oneonta. This review takes the price into account. Two recommendations: 1. Bring bottled water. The water out of the sink had a slight brownish tint and I was not going to use that to brush my teeth.... More

The Red Carpet Inn is a clean, neat, simple, fairly priced motel very close to Cooperstown. We were very pleased when we arrived and decided to spend an extra night because one day in the area just wasn't enough. The Continental breakfast is just a starter but the coffee was good and the apples fresh. For the money we were... More

This motel is around 3 miles out of Cooperstown and a good priced motel for exploring the HOF. The rooms are cleand and tidy and offered a good nights rest after a long day on your feet. As motels go this was a good standard. We had to drive into town for dinner as there were not too many choices... More
