This Inn was a perfect combination of the following: charming, pristine, spotless, lovingly cared for, quiet, beautiful surroundings, tastefully furnished, Innkeepers who are kind, wonderful cooks/bakers and proud of their craft. There was a wonderful energy about this Inn and the experience there was restorative. The bed was very comfortable as well. We would definitely go back! Cooperstown is very... More

We stayed for 3 nights and loved the scenic location just a few minutes away from the busy downtown Cooperstown district. We stayed in the Adirondack Suite with our 2 kids. It was great to have a separate room for the kids in our suite. The suite was spacious and has a full sized table where we all sat together... More

There are so many places to choose from when visiting Cooperstown and I instantly knew I picked the right place as soon as I walked in the door at The Phoenix Inn. It was so clean and beautifully decorated. Vicki cheerfully greeted us, with laundry basket in hand, and gave us a tour of the Inn. She took the time... More

Owned by Jim and Vicki Gates, the Phoenix is well-located just a few minutes drive outside of Cooperstown and offers the same amenities as the much higher priced B&Bs in town. Vicki's warmth and hospitality match her wonderful breakfasts. She really enjoys her guests and manages to make running a B&B seem easy. More

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Phoenix Inn. It is just a short drive from "downtown" Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Hosts Vickie and Jim Gates welcome you like family and make you feel right at home. Vickie's breakfasts are delicious, my mouth waters at the memory of her baked French toast! The Gates are excellent... More

We totally enjoyed our stay. Vicki was a terrific hostess that gave us wonderful advise and insights into Cooperstown. We were able to maximize our 3 night stay. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on. We were pleasantly surprised with the creative and good menus. Even though this B&B is a bit outside of town, it is well located and an... More

The Pheonix Inn is a hidden gem in Cooperstown. We traveled up to see the autumn colors, and had a wonderful stay. The room are clean, well-sized, and have great amenities. The Inn has a historic and quaint feeling that is perfect for the area. The best part of the trip was breakfast. This is not your average continental breakfast.... More
