The location was great! Overlooking the lake and very serene. It didn't look like much as you drive up the driveway, but the cottage was well appointed and cozy with terrific lake views. The best part of the experience was the hospitality. Peter an his staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Peter made... More

We spent 6 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast in June. We stayed here while my son played in a baseball tournament. It was the perfect place for a family that had other kids to entertain. We loved the early morning breakfasts with the gorgeous view! It was so nice to canoe and kayak when we had some spare... More

There were several buildings on the property. The room we stayed in was next to the main building . Our room had a fairly large combination living room /bedroom with two double beds. There was a small kitchen also with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave with dishes and silverware. There also was a private bath. The room was very clean... More

Absolutely one of the most enjoyable vacation spots we have stayed at. Back in July when I took a week off to run a Tough Mudder in upstate NY we swung by Cooperstown for a few days as we were looking for a nice place to stay. Searching the internet I found Cobblescote on the Lake. It was just what... More

Cobbkescote was the perfect place for me and my wife to take her father for his surprise birthday weekend getaway to Cooperstown. Peter and his nieces could not have been more accommodating hosts. Our flight from NC didn't allow us to arrive until around 10:00 at night, but Peter still met us in the driveway with a flashlight to guide... More

My husband and I wanted a place to get away to from NYC for a few days for our one year wedding anniversary and we found it here at Cobblescote and Cooperstown. Cobblescote was the perfect place for the two of us to enjoy a quiet romantic weekend together. It was located right on Otsego Lake, which was crystal clear... More

We stayed 2 nights. @4 miles to the Hall of Fame. What a beautiful location, right on the lake. Our room had a view of the lake. Breakfasts were included and Peter was a great host providing us with the history of the inn and tips for Cooperstown. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I brought my dad to Cooperstown for a quick overnight adventure. All inns were booked in downtown Cooperstown area and we didn't want to stay in a "corporate" hotel, so we searched for options around the lake. Cobblescote was a quick 5 minute drive up the road from the Hall of Fame, Fenimore Museum and Farmer's Museum.... More

We recently stayed in the Walker Cottage during the week of 8/15 - 22 while our son played at Dreams Park. As many others have noted, finding a place that appeals to the need for comfort, privacy and service can be a challenging experience and we were delighted we chose Cobblescote on the Lake. After arriving late on Friday, I... More

I spent weeks surfing the Internet for lodging for our family while one of our sons played baseball in Cooperstown’s Dreams Park, and absolutely nothing seemed to encompass what I wanted for our family. Everything seemed either too rustic or too traditional. I truly believe in fate and one Sunday morning I stumbled on the Cobblescote on the Lake website.... More
