I stayed at the Baseball Bed and Breakfast with a group of friends in August and was pleasantly surprised. The best thing about this place is definitely the location....not to mention the owners John and Suzanne. The B&B is located just a few minutes walk from Main St. and John and Suzanne are very kind, welcoming and helpful. The B&B's... More

We stayed at the Baseball B&B while in Cooperstown on a quick getaway to visit the village and the HOF. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Suzanne and John at the Baseball B&B and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay within easy walking distance of downtown Cooperstown and the HOF. The room (the Cobb... More

My wife and I stayed in the Cobb room for 2 nights while in Cooperstown to check out the Baseball Museum and Hall of Fame. Both the house and room were full of cool baseball memorabilia, great if you are a real baseball fan. The room was big and had a nice large private bathroom. A/C in the window was... More

This place is an ultimate culmination of a baseball fan's home. As its name, Baseball B&B is the excellent combination of the two parts of its name. Baseball memorabilia are at each corner of the house, fixtures, books, photos, table games, books, ..., everything basically. Hospitality is perfect. Suzanne provides a perfect orientation about Cooperstown including history, geography and of... More

Our family had a great stay at the Baseball Bed and Breakfast. This is the first time that our children have been to Cooperstown and what a great way to see the Hall of Fame! We stayed in the Johnson room with two roll away beds for our children. The room was perfect. Suzanne and John's home is beautiful with... More

John and Suzanne were lovely and the house was charming and full of great baseball items and very charming. They added A/C recently and that was a nice bonus! The breakfast was delicious and the big back yard was great for playing catch. They also suggested the best places to eat in town and they were all fantastic! It was... More

Suzanne and John took time to make sure I had all I needed, from bus schedules to knowledge of town history to inside the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. They made me feel very much at home during the 4 days I stayed. The breakfast was wonderful, the grilled steaks were great, and the backyard storm experience was... More

The Baseball B&B is very close to all the attractions of Cooperstown and with its large and beautiful back lawn, gardens and lovely, quiet patio, it's an exceptionally pleasant place to stay. The rooms (we stayed in the Ty Cobb Room) are large, very comfortable and terrifically decorated with baseball memorabilia. Suzanne's breakfasts, inside or on the patio, are wonderful. She... More

Beautiful, charming place to stay. Within walking distance of the hall and in town shops and places to eat. Cooperstown is a beautiful little town and this place was just perfect to stay in. Susanne and John are perfect hosts and make you feel like family. Loved the breakfast on the patio deck. A very peaceful place to just sit... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located in the heart of Cooperstown, Baseball Bed and Breakfast can be easily found at the 1883 Italianate "sunny yellow house with white trim" on Chestnut Street. The 2/3-acre property has a lush green lawn in the rear (suitable for a game of catch) and a deck rimming the rear of the house where breakfast is served (weather permitting) and guests can sit on rockers to spend some quiet time reading or simply enjoying the scenery before they leave for the Glimmerglass Festival or other attractions in Cooperstown. Inside, the house is decorated with baseball memorabilia (except the music room, where the Hostess, Suzanne Rudy, can be found playing her harp at times during the day and early evening). Each of the bedrooms has air conditioning and a private bath, and is appointed in honor of one of the original five inductees to the Hall of Fame: Cobb, Ruth, Mathewson, Johnson and Wagner. ... more   less
