Since I do a lot of travel for business, I have stayed in quite a few hotels over the years. The Cooper Inn, though, feels like coming home. I've stayed here four times over the course of 25 years, usually with my family during the winter to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame (and other attractions). This past December, I... More

Location was perfect as it was within a couple of minutes from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Main St. Room was charming and the bed was comfy. Afternoon wine is a nice touch. On our room at the 2nd floor you had to walk down a small flight of stairs in the bathroom which I didn't care for (but... More

Having stayed a few times, I'm moved to write a second review. I was a little disappointed this time, not because the breakfast is "quirky", with a self-serve make-your-own waffles and toast, and no hot cooked options, but because the linen was old and scratchy, despite having it changed, and I got bites x 4 on my first night. Ended... More

Dear Alphablack, Thank you for returning to The Cooper Inn during your recent travels to the area. It’s disappointing to read that your experience was not as pleasant as your last one, especially since we upgraded all of our bed linen recently as part of our renovations. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced, but please rest assured that... More

Stayed for 4 nights with our two children of young age. The rooms and beds were large and comfortable, and in a nice vintage style. There is a hearty continental breakfast served in a lovely dining area, and we mostly enjoyed the delicious warm waffles and fresh fruits every morning. Also great, the complimentary wine served in the afternoon in... More

Friends and I stayed recently for a mini college reunion and the Inn offered us everything we wanted. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with modern bathrooms and the public rooms are beautifully decorated and evocative of the gracious living of past eras. As stated in other reviews, the continental breakfast was simple, but plentiful and the complimentary wine in... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cooper Inn during a quick weekend getaway trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Our room was a corner one upstairs that had a separate room with a day bed, which would be great for families. It was a frigid weekend with snow on our last day in Cooperstown but... More

Beautiful Inn. We stayed in the original part of the house which had 12ft ceilings and very spacious rooms. Queen beds only though. They provide complimentary wine in the evening, and it's the Otesaga Label Wine, which owns The Cooper Inn. The wine is actually good.
