We had a comfortable stay at the Hampton Inn in Commack. The room was large and clean. Bathroom small but clean and adequate for 2 people. Check-in was good. Breakfast was typical Hampton, but I expected that when I made the reservation. I don't eat sausage patties and french toast sticks; but there were other things there making the breakfast... more

This hotel actually made me sick, and I stay in hotel rooms two or three nights a week and consider myself a pretty hardy traveler. As soon as I opened the door to my room, though, a dusty, musty, stale odor assailed me. Even with the fan on cool, it was hard to ignore the "old smoke" smell in the... more

I've stayed in many Hampton Inn's and always been happy with my stay but this time it was different. The parking lot was full of pot holes. The hotel needs some updating alittle bit run down. Just didn't have a comfy feeling. more

My husband and I stayed here for three nights with our three kids (ages 8, 5 and 2). We usually love Hampton Inns for our purposes; roomy, very clean, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast. This particular Hampton is showing it's age, though. The one thing that drove me crazy (and the reason I will never go back) is the cigarette smoke... more

The hotel has the highest quality for the money ($100/night) with the most amenities (breakfast buffet, wifi internet, lobby computer, easy access) in the area. My room was spacious and comfortable, though the walls, carpet, and bathroom showed a few signs of wear-and-tear. Despite it being at the intersection of very busy LI Expressway (rt 495) and Commack Rd, and... more

We liked that they had the mirrors set up in the bathroom so that you could see the back of your hair when you blowed it dry –very few places realize how nice this is as I usually have to have the husband hold a mirror! The place was clean enough and we appreciate the free wi-fi and better then... more

Stayed here during a business trip. Normaly I like to have resturants in the hotel but this one has a great diner right beside. Many other choices close by. As for the room, typical but very cozy. The beds were amazing. I had some of the best nights sleep ever at a hotel more

Hampton Inns are exactly what an econo hotel should be- great for a family weekend away, but terrible if you are a business traveler. The newer Hamptons are great- but as things age the hotels lose a bit of their charm- and this is one of those hotels. It's okay, but the bathroom and bedroom are getting a little rough... more

As a business traveler, I would not stay at this Hampton Inn again. There was no desk in my room, only a small round table. This made working very inconvenient. The hotel also has no fitness center. Passes are available to Gold's Gym, which they say is 5 minutes away. In reality, it is a 15 minute drive. The gym... more

I traveled on business and stayed for three nights. Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious and well maintained. Free hi-speed worked well. the lobby was well kept and staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and appeared to be fairly new. The only con to the trip- bathroom smelled like stale smoke and although the room was non-smoking... more
