The hotel location is great but breakfast included very poor. need improvement on that department. Our room supposedly non-smoking but it really smell smokey...so what recourse as a guest could we do. I asked for a vinegar so they did bring and left it in an open counter to neutralize the smell. Bathroom is excellent esp. for my sister who... More

Stayed for 10 nights and was happy with the overall experience. Room is large and bathroom although small has a decent shower. We were on the front of the hotel where there was construction on a nearby new hotel but the noise wasn't too bad. Breakfast is basic but a wide number of western and local choices. Service is friendly... More

One of the newer hotels in Subic, Grand Hoyah was actually a pleasant place to stay in. It differentiates itself from other hotels by having its own karaoke rooms, as well as an affordable spa service. I stayed in one of their basic rooms, and though it was a bit small, the room looked nice and had everything I needed... More

Back here for the second time. We really like the room size, location, and overall comfort. We booked the 'deluxe king with balcony'. The room is spacious and well kept. Very comfortable bed and bath. There is also a safe, fridge, and coffee/tea kettle. You also get a complete set of toiletries that are of good quality. The room was... More

I have been to a lot of hotels in different places. Most of them are the usual type of hotels where you really won't get to say "well, isn't that interesting?" Grand Hoyah Hotel is interesting on its own because they have unique parts of the hotel structure which is part of your staying experience. True, the lobby may be... More

This is an average hotel for travelers. The moment you enter the lobby, you can see what to expect.... Small rooms, and an incredibly small elevator for 4 people! The rooms were average and the amenities were few. The toilet and bath was clean and small. Service was poor! And the breakfast was forgettable. It seemed that the staff did... More

We can't find any room along the boardwalk since the Ad Summit was being held at the same time. We've seen the facade of the hotel but we have not inquired before. While it is not in the boardwalk area, it's a 15 minutes to the beach front and a 5-minute walk to Harbor Point Ayala Mall and the Royal... More

Location is okay, just a 5-min walk to the Ayala mall, although hard to find. Address is wrong -- not at the corner of Manila and Canal. Rooms are clean and spacious. Elevator is small and capacity is limited to 3 people. TERRIBLE arrangement for guests' drivers. Drivers only allowed to enter at 12mn, and are required to vacate the... More

Let's get right down to business: What I liked: 1. Staff were very prompt is responding to text messages and answering phone calls during the reservation process. I commend Rafael for doing a great job on this from start to finish. 2. They were very patient with my endless queries. 3. The hotel is conveniently located near Harbor Point and... More

I stayed here with my family during our 2014 CNY holiday on our back from Bohol. What surprised is the lift. It is the smallest lift I have ever seen in a hotel. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons only! This hotel seems to be run by the Taiwanese. The decor and even the bathroom accessories look very... More
