We stayed there for a weekend getaway and were positively surprised by the view of the pool overlooking the forest. The staff was nice but the hotel is in a remote neighbourhood so if you are not a nature lover, it might not be the best of ideas to stay there. As soon as we arrived, monkeys greeted us by... More

Hotel location is far from other places. Nice surroundings if you love nature. But keep out of monkeys. It can be seen around jumping from nowhere. No free breakfast. Pool is ok. Rooms are small. The place is kind of rundown and old. One thing I like about the place is the food. Delicious. Overall, I would recommend this hotel... More

I was fascinated with the view of the hotel. No wonder, the nature gives this hotel the edge to be visited by tourist. I really love the view of their infinity pool. Though I am not really fan of old stuffs that can be found in their lobby area, I think that's one of their attractions to their market tourist.... More

This seems to be hotel most birdwatching tours use when visiting Subic. The staff were very friendly and flexibility over early breakfast and meal times was particularly valuable. Rooms are a little tired but comfortable and we had no problem with hot water. Particularly liked a leisurely lunch where we could watch a Philippine Serpent Eagle and Coppersmith Barbet in... More

This was our second stay at Mountain Woods and we particularly sort to stay here again after the great experience we had last year. On our arrival we found that there were new owners who where renovating areas of the hotel and although this was outside the rooms were staying the staff bend over backwards to ensure that the work... AC worked well. Room closest to the restaurant, u can pick up 'some' wifi. It is very peaceful there and close enough to drive to town if u so wish. The warm water for bath/shower really is a problem and should be looked at. The staff are all friendly. The grounds can do with a bit of tidying the vines... More

Stayed there for a night. One thing I noticed about this inn is its serenity. Secluded on a hill and near to lots of green. Potential for destination wedding if management do up the place nicely. They room is a bit dated but the bed was comfortable. It gives a very classic feel. There were a lot of flying bugs... More

The stay in this hotel was never a "looking forward" vacation. We checked in for the purpose of being close to our sons who were having their outing in Subic and were staying in a guesthouse of one of their classmates. I have been very choosy with the hotels I checked in. For me comfort and cleanliness is a must.... More
