Living in Toronto - Buffalo is consider only worthy of a "get in, get out" trip to the outlet malls by the vast majority of people you speak to. Unfortunately few venture beyond, to discover the charms of the upper State NY countryside and the burgeoning artistic scene in downtown Buffalo. We've been to Buffalo a few times and never... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Briarwood Farm. What a beautiful setting, gorgeous home and wonderful hosts. Bill & Melanie made us feel very welcome! Coffee on arrival and chocolate pretzels on our son's pillows, nice touch. We sat in their loungeroom by the fire sipping Baileys on ice and chatting after a days skiing at Kissing Bridge. Bill gave... More

We booked for 4 days at this storybook bed and breakfast. The first 2 days we felt so fortunate that we were able to have this experience. On the 3rd day, we had a family wedding, The reception didn't end until 10:45 pm. With travel back to this bed and breakfast, we arrived late.(11:30 pm) The owner was extremely irritated... More

We are not sure where to start in responding to this poor review, however because it is the first negative feedback ever received, we feel it is important to address the issues the writer stated. · Our original agreement was to take 6 (out of 10 traveling) people to stay with us, not 7. The remaining travelers were to go... More

I recently returned to the East Aurora area for a Family reunion. On my way I decided that I wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast if I could find one in the area. I was lucky enough to call Melanie the owner of what was to become my home for the next 3 days. This is a wonderful... More

We stayed at Briarwood Farm for three nights. Even though we were traveling, it felt like staying at the home of a good friend. Bill and Melanie both greeted us when we arrived, helped us with our bags and offered a glass of wine. The setting was like an oasis - off the road, quiet and natural. The house was... More

Briarwood Farm B&B in Colden, NY was a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend for a family wedding in Western New York. Melanie and Bill Wolski were superb hosts along with Ferguson, Duffy and Buzz. The rolling hills south of Buffalo made a great back drop to their place in the country. Breakfasts were served in the dining... More

Our family of four stayed with Bill and Melanie for 10 days. From the moment, our feet touched the ground until the time we left, they made our trip remarkable. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves so we had plenty of room to stretch out and even a lap top to access if we wished. Each morning, we... More

This is a very nice bed and breakfast and I highly recommend one stay here. The surroundings is a former golf course that is being allowed to return to nature. My group was welcomed upon arrival with wine and cheese and a very nice tour and visit with the host and hostess. We had a great night and I slept... More

Wonderful location nestled in the hills close to both cross country and downhill ski areas. If you like to get out and enjoy the winter, then come back in and enjoy a cozy time by a stone hearth fireplace in a well appointed home with many wonderful antique architectural details and actual artwork, then this is a place that you...
