My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary in Cold Spring at the Pig Hill Inn. Beautiful Inn, right in the middle of town, convenient to restaurants (Riverview and Silver Spoon), bars (Doug's Pretty Good Bar) and great hiking (Cornish Estate Trail). We stayed in Wind Song which was lovely, including a very comfortable bed. Dave got us going with... More

The Pig Hill Inn, a mere two blocks from the Cold Spring, NY RR station was a perfect two day getaway! Each room has a different decor and furnished with antiques- ours was an old world lodge feel with a beautiful fireplace and wrought iron bed. Built in 1825, the inn's original wood floors and the attention to detail are... More

This is now the only b&b we go too.Vera the owner has a gem in Cold Springs. The rooms are all beautiful decorated. We stay in the enchantment room with wood burning stove and Jacuzzi tub.The downstairs common area has a fireplace and couches to sit and take in the atmosphere. There's always some goodies left out for guest like... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night last weekend during a visit to see a couple of shows at Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. This charming, elegant three-story inn was built in 1825 and its history proudly shines through, from the antiques tastefully placed here and there to the lovingly creaky floorboards. Our room was adorned with oriental rugs,... More

We stayed in the tranquility room, one night. Room is small, but bathroom is large with a jacuzzi. The bed was a lovely four poster with canopy. Mattress not great. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, choice of 3 items, we selected the French toast, excellent. Location is great, right on Main Street. We stayed because we had tickets... More

Small and intimate, great breakfast on Main Street. What more could anyone ask for? Easy access to anywhere in town. Just 60 minutes north of Grand Central Station on Metro North. And a short walk from the train station to the Inn. No need for a car. An amazing little place.

We stay in B&Bs all the time, and The Pig Hill Inn provides an excellent experience. It's right on the main street in Cold Spring, so you can walk to the water, the train, and anywhere in town (which isn't very far - it's tiny!) This was our second stay at the Inn and both times were great experiences. This... More

If you wish to get away, rest, chill out, and stay in a idillic Old Styled Inn... this is it. Managed by Vera from Checkoslovakia, it is a true beauty. Just 6 rooms. Beautiful decor, generous breakfast in an indoor patio served by Dave.

We recently stay at the Pig Hill Inn for a birthday weekend. I booked the Tranquility room. The room was appointed as advertised: king sized bed, stove type fire place, Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Everything was nice. I'm new to the B&B experience, so I usually find these places a little over done with all the era specific charm.... More
