You're pretty limited in your choice of accomodations in this area. We didn't want to chance it at a "Brand X" motel so decided to stay at the Best Western. It was perfect for our family/friends visit to Howe Caverns: clean rooms; reasonable price; near Howe Caverns; bowling alley adjacent to property; 24-hour Super Wal Mart down the road; and... more

We stayed at this Best Western on our trip to see the Howe Cave and the Secret Caverns, and were very satisfied. Our selection was based in large part on the fact that the hotel has a pool and a bowling lane and was close enough to Howe Cave to be convenient. Our room was a king, booked at the... more

Every February, at the start of their winter break, we take the kids for a one night getaway to a fairly local hotel - just to enjoy an indoor pool, cable TV and some down time. This year we chose the Best Western in Cobleskill because my daughter and I had been there with her bowling team and thought it... more

This is a very nice hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The onsite resturant was also very good. $7.25 all you can eat breakfast was good. I will be staying here again. more

Decent place in a town with not a whole lot going on. The hotel has got it where it counts: clean room, acceptable beds and decent water pressure in the bathroom. The so-called 'high speed internet access' (slow) and exercise room (quite small) fell short of reasonable expectations. The staff is pleasant and the air conditioner cranks. If you must... more

Looks good from the photo of the main entrance but beware. This is a tired old hotel in desparate need of a remodeling. The room was clean and comfortable but the rest of the hotel is very unappealing. The indoor pool is very 60's or 70's looking. No hot tub either. The complimentary coffee offered in the lobby was awful.... more

My husband and I just got back from a recent trip to NY. Cooperstown was on our list, but staying in Cooperstown was just too pricey. We decided to stay about 30 miles away at the Best Western in Cobleskill. What a great idea! The room (king) was very large and delievered more than we thought. Besides the bed, we... more

We have stayed here occasionally over the past 20 years and the room has never disappointed. Check in was quick as we had a reservation. The room was right next to the pool, as we had requested when making the reservation. Although a non smoking room it had an odd odor to it - certainly not objectionable. The beds were... more

Hello! We stayed at this hotel with our family of four. I decided on this hotel because of its closeness to the Baseball Hall of Fame and the price. All hotels closer cost quite a bit more. It was a decent stay. It was what you would expect from the chain. No big frills, just a nice room. The pool... more

When I called to make my reservation I spoke with a very friendly young lady who informed me of their pool, fitness center and even a bowling center! I knew that this was going to be the place for us! My husband and our 2 children wanted to go to the area to visit some surrounding attractions and when I... more
