We recently had occasion to stay in the Arbor Inn when returning to Clinton for a Hamilton College reunion. The Inn was absolutely adorable – well maintained, inviting, and lovely. Our room was quaint comfortable with all the amenities you would need. Dave and Ellen were absolutely wonderful – friendly and solicitous and take pride in their inn. The breakfasts... More

Pru and I stayed at the Arbor Inn on May 27 & 28 and were delighted with the changes Dave and Ellen have made since our last visit in January. Dave has moved his office from the large room that separates the two wings of this B & B. It is now available to guests for various activities. There is... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time at The Arbor Inn. Dave and Ellen are very personable and sweet. They took time out of their busy schedule to chat with us several times. Our suite in this very charming home is beautiful. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast on the lovely back porch which has a panoramic view of the... More

We were taking the college tour and stayed at this inn. The hospitality cannot be beat and neither can the breakfast which is included. We enjoyed not only the proprietors but also the other guest. The location is close to the college and the accommodations are comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

I am a year late in writing this, but better late than never. We wife and two young boys stayed in the William Street apartment in Feb. 2014. It was a cold outside and there was a lot of snow on the ground. The stay was perfect in every way. There is a lovely little green one can walk around... More

This is my fourth visit to Arbor Inn and, as always, we had a delightful stay. Each visit has been a week long so we really get to know the owners and try all of their fabulous breakfast dishes. David and Ellen are very gracious and welcoming. Good cooks too! Ask for the peach upside down pancake! David brushed the... More

Our son is a sophomore at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. We live 6 ½ hours away but we still take every opportunity to visit him that the college provides. It’s a long, tedious drive but other than seeing him, we are comforted by the thought that we will be staying at the Arbor Inn of Clinton. Just arriving at... More

The Arbor Inn is located in small town atmosphere Clinton, New York. The Inn is situated on a quiet road bordered on one side by a quiet corner of the Hamilton College campus and on the other side by farm land. The mostly rural area around Clinton provides a complementary backdrop for this meticulously kept Inn. The public spaces and... More

My mother and I spent week at the Arbor Inn and I have only great memories. No detail was overlooked. Comfortable beds and linens, immaculately clean, charmingly decorated, delicious breakfasts, and the most gracious of hosts. We left feeling as though we had made new friends. Ellen and Dave have raised the bar of B&B stays!

Stayed at Arbor Inn while visiting daughter at Hamilton College. Dave and Ellen are great hosts. The rooms are well appointed, mattresses comfortable and the availability of coffee, tea, water and cookies is a wonderful touch. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Usually one hot dish with fruit, cereals, homemade muffins and bread. You will not go away hungry. Pretty front... More
