We were Six cycling couples that have stayed at The Wooden Boat Inn for our Canadian long weekend, and we had a great time! We loved our hotel! Loved the owners! Bernie lent me his charger as I forgot mine at home, what a sport! For the price, I gave it a five star rating. They have great amenities for... More

Fortunately for us, one room was available Friday night (#3) and it was clean and comfortable. We could walk to the Antique Wooden Boat Museum and the downtown area with its shops and restaurants. We will stay here again when in Clayton.

Very, very clean! Comfortable king size bed. Access to kitchen, microwave, ref. , dishes, table. Nice outdoor fireplace to sit around and chat. Price is very reasonable for all you get here! Easy walking to anything in downtown Clayton. We have stayed here for 9 years and would not stay anywhere else! Thank you so much for what you do... More

We have stayed at the Wooden Boat Inn, room 3 for a number of years in a row. We love it here. After staying in other hotels in the area that are priced similarly, we would never stay anywhere but here. We love the charm, the free coffee and kitchen area, and the comfortable, clean rooms. The bathroom is small... More

We have stayed in the house at the Wooden Boat Inn for 5 years for 9 - 12 days in July. We also stayed at the motel for one year. The house is perfect for us - 3 bedrooms (2 queens and 2 twins),1.5 baths, full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, 2 TVs. Our grown children and our grandchildren... More

This inn is wonderful. It is neat, simple, and not a drop of nautical preciousness or kitsch, which you would almost expect in a town such as Clayton. We wanted a nice and inexpensive room for a night and that is exactly what we got. It exceeded our expectations and I plan to visit again.

This quaint little inn had all the charm and is with in walking distance to the Wooden Boat Museum, the Wooden Boat Brewery, and the shops down town on the water. If you are in Clayton for boating, Bernie is most hospitable and will guide you to many places in Clayton. Hanging out on the stone patio and back porch... More

My girlfriend Anita and I were seeking a place to stay for a late fall visit to 1000 Islands, and she discovered the Wooden Boat Inn via the internet. Having been a long time visitor to the Islands, I was surprised to have never heard of the Inn...but after the WONDERFUL weekend that we shared there, I plan on spreading... More

Very homey little Inn. 6 rooms. a new proprietor took over this business just 4 weeks ago and doing a fine job. Great recommendations for dining and directions. Our room was very comfortable. Bathroom small but adequate. There is a very convenient common kitchen with a refrigerator for guests use as well as coffee makers. Would definitely say there again.
