My husband and I spent three nights at this charming Inn. This was our second visit..first time we stayed in the Pine Groves Room (with private front porch), this visit we stayed in the Mill Stream Room. The room has a comfortable king size bed, seating area, fireplace, refrigerator and private bath. There is a door to the back porch,... More

This B & B was is a historic home in Clarence, NY. It is easy to find and parking is ample. Our room was the Pine Grove room which has twin beds. The room was okay, but the outside entrance (as well as a hallway entrance) is perfect for travelers with dogs for late night/ early moring walks. The grounds... More

My husband and I thought this was a top notch bed and breakfast. We have stayed at many bed and breakfast and this is in our top 3. The house and grounds were beautifully maintained. Our room was large and very relaxing. Loved there was a complimentary cheese and fruit basket in our room and the bed was very comfy.... More

We enjoyed our stay very much. The historic charm of the Inn and grounds was so relaxing. And the meals were terrific. The dinner menu was so impressive. So much to choose from! My wife has a serious gluten allergy. What a nice surprise that they have a complete Gluten Free dinner menu, too! they even had gluten free English... More

I documented a wedding at this venue a few weekends ago. The room the bride was getting ready in was beautiful and lead right out onto the back porch where she and her future husband were able to see each other before walking down the aisle. The back yard was appointed nicely for a wedding and the food they served... More

Stayed 4 nights in mid-August, 2014 in Ellicott Room. The room is thoughtfully furnished to provide everything most travelers need, including 2 luggage holders. The downstairs sitting room is convenient and comfortable. Ample on-site parking. The breakfast menu is well-varied -- Ate a different breakfast each morning and each was excellent. Also ate 4 dinners and they were superb, too.... More

An oasis of tranquility in Western New York, near Buffalo and Niagara Falls, this place is a rare gem even among the best Bed & Breakfasts. A beautifully restored old building, originally a gristmill built by town founder Asa Ransom around early 1850's, it has been lovingly converted into one of the finest, most hospitable bed and breakfasts I have... We have been to many local B&Bs in the western NY area. We have had good stays, but Asa Ransom House of Clarence Hollow has taken the experience to having each detail professionally, yet personally, and perfectly done. The detail to service, setting, and the culinary was made to your order. The choices were plentiful and filling. We were so... More

This is a charming historic home that exudes charm, authenticity, good staffing and an appealing menu. Each room was comfortable, filled with carefully selected, period furniture and a modern comfortable bed. The dining room and lounge are equally authentic and attractive. The breakfast and dinner were very good, with one glaring (and hopefully atypical) exception. My wife's sauerbraten had little... More
