If you are near Buffalo, NY for any reason this is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the restaurant is wonderful, and the whole enterprise is a treat for any traveller. Each room has period furnishings, but they are not overdone--they aren't the "teddy-bear" on the bed sort of cute. They are wonderfully comfortable... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 day 'getaway' at Asa Ransom House. This was the 12th time we have stayed there and as usual it was fantastic! We have tried 4 of their rooms - we prefer King size beds so there are 5 to choose from. We like the 'Pine Grove' the best of the... More

Thank you for your kind words. I will pass on your compliments to the entire staff that helped make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. With the spring weather arriving soon...? You will find me in the herb garden planting the many herbs that we use daily in the kitchen. Thanks again and have a great day! asaransom More

My wife and I stayed in the Country Garden Suite. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The hot tub and fireplace were really nice additions to the room. The breakfast and service was spectacular. It was a great experience.

We stayed in the Renaissance room for seven nights in January. It is a beautiful room with a sitting area and second exit to a back porch. The room decor is warm and is complimented by the gas fireplace. The owner and staff were very helpful during our stay. The breakfasts are wonderful, with a wide selection ranging from granola... We stay at the in twice a year with friends. The inn is very charming and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food at dinner is awesome with a large selection that changes with the seasons. Breakfast is wonderful and I would recommend the suflet. Thanks for another great weekend.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay here but you definitely need a car to stay here. The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and we had to leave early and a boxed breakfast was left out for us. The location was very handy to the airport.

We have stayed at this in several times over a 25 years and always look forward to returning. Rooms are beautiful and they also have an outstanding restaurant. Breakfast is always a delight. Inn is located not far from Buffalo airport in a small town with several antique shops.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Our suite was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious - and the service was excellent. No complaints. Plan to return on upcoming anniversary.

If you visit expecting luxury and roantic you will be disappointed. Yhe website listing all their awards gives an exaggerated sense of this nice, quaint retreat. The roomwe had with a king sized bed was small, with an old bathroom lacking charm. The furnishings were stuffed in in order to allow for a firesplace. It did have a very nice... More
