Irene and Walter made us feel right at home....in there extremely homey Deer run cottage . I must also say that they are above and beyond child friendly...During our stay there must have been a half dozen children running around and playing with the many bikes, scooters and wagons supplied by them. Cant wait to go back with my children... More

I originally found out about this lodge on line and have been vacationing there ever since. great location, surrounded by woods and a stream. a snow mobil trail near by. close to gore mountain ski resort. also close to a small town. good place for snowshoeing also. friendly owner. furniture are old, otherwise a five star.

We are a family of 8 (kids 9 - 17) and stayed in one of the 3-bedroom cabins. The cabin we stayed in was a lot more rustic than I anticipated which was a bit of a shock. Six of us stayed in the upper chalet, which had plenty of space for all of us plus a couple of dogs.
