You drive past the gates, where you come to a station and a very friendly (but firm) man and his very beautifully groomed brown large poodle greets you and asks your name. He let's you through and you drive further along the winding road to see a chateau in the near distance. You're greeted by your own personal butler...no kidding.... More

My wife and I stayed one night in room 12 (a junior suite) for a parents getaway from the kids. Everything was excellent and I can't think of anything to change. Those who designed the property and the guest experience did everything to perfection down to the very last details. We really liked the room we had, the mansion and... More

I am accustomed to dining in fine restaurants so my comments are relative to experiences at other similar establishments. My issue with a recent dining experience in the Glenmere's China Room was the SMALL portions that all six of us received. For an $85 price fixed menu (plus up-charges for certain entree's) I expect more. I'll spare you a long... More

Having stayed here a year ago and upon coming back, I was amiss to see that some details have been ignored....especially with the lack of attention to bedding in the room. The staff continues to be nice and accommodating......the pool area needs some tidying up, in particular the stained blue cushions on the summer chaises....meals still good.....The spa is good,... We've been to many 5 star hotels and resorts and thought we had seen it all, but Glenmere has set the new standard! The service, the people, the rooms, the food...all spectacular. Guest are treated like royalty from the moment they arrive and the staff is the nicest, most gracious and helpful I've ever experienced. A great resort is all... More

This is our 3rd visit to Glenmere in 4 months and I already can't wait to come back. They get every detail right here - exceptional service, gorgeous rooms and spa and wonderful food. This is truly our new home away from home - a total gem.

I would certainly give Glenmere more than 5 stars if it were possible. My wife and I just returned from 3 nights at Glenmere Mansion. This is by far one of the nicest resorts in the US. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty and perhaps that is because you are truly staying in a mansion. Words... More

My husband and I stayed one night here when we needed to attend a funeral in town. Although there is a 2 night minimum weekend stay, they graciously waived that given our situation. We stayed in an elegant King bedded room over looking the courtyard. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were so gorgeous, with beautiful details throughout. I have... More

A chance to run away for a few days in the Summer, without the vacation crowds always presents a dilemma. We are fortunate to be able to travel midweek, we skipped the Hampton's, the Jersey shore & other Mid Atlantic hot spots. A wonderful corner of New York State, welcomed us with open arms & a mansion housed us for... More

This stunning place provides everything you could ask for ... And then some. The rooms are beautiful, with a steam shower we used several times! The dinner was as fine as the best "fine dining" we have ever had. Staff, including the owners made us feel not only welcome, but special. There was even a thoughtful parting gift. I have... More
