As 2 couples, we visited Glemere Mansion for the day, arriving for lunch, We extensively made use of the lovely spa - extra comfortable and expertly staffed. Lunch in the courtyard was perfect - thoroughly delicious. We arrived by limo and returned by chartered helicopter. It was a glorious day.

My husband and I spent two nights at Glenmere for our five year anniversary. I had been anticipating the trip for months based on reviews. Spectacular property - quite frankly unlike any I have ever stayed. Fabulous attention to detail in furnishings, small touches, and service. Charles, Neil, Tom and Trevor will make you feel truly taken care of. Seamless,... More

Driving into the Glenmere was like finding a little gem in this area. We were greeted immediately by two young valet attendances, very professional. We were announced and taken to our table. Very personal service. Lovely table by the fireplace, lit with candles. Our server was very atenative. She gave us suggestions and new the menu quite well. A prix... More

My wife and I just finished celebrating our anniversary with an exceptional weekend spent at Glenmere Mansion. Words are not adequate to express what a wonderful experience this was. We felt as if we were in another world. It’s truly wonderful to get away, but it’s spectacular to feel “away”. Glenmere is well staffed with extremely well trained, attentive, courteous,... More

I have never been to a hotel that is as close to perfection and exquisite— from the outside in—as Glenmere. Its high-on-a-hill setting affords lush and expansive views. The landscape surrounding the house is groomed without sacrificing nature’s organic beauty. Upon arrival we were welcomed as though arriving home from a long journey. The staff is extraordinary; without exception each... More

Being a local I went there for dinner with my husband, the food was magnificent and the service was impeccable. The grounds are simply beautiful. The menu was diverse, and my taste buds were in heaven. I must warn however it is not for someone who does not have an adventurous palate or open to new things., if you are... More

We were only guests for one night plus spa treatments but were treated as VIPs. Luxury experience for those looking for a get-a-way in upstate New York. You may be looking at a map and wondering where it is - but it is worth the 1.5 hour drive from EWR or LGA. The spa is amazing the service is 5... More

We were only able to stay one night in mid May. Had great dinner at Frog's end and impressive breakfast. Really a wonderful place, stunning interiors, broad, stately grounds and views. It is not inexpensive, but the whole place is clearly a labor of love where no expense was spared to make it perfect. I didn't see the spa myself,... More

Thanks Glenmere Mansion for giving my boyfriend and I the perfect romantic getaway weekend! Everything from the room to the food to the warm and friendly staff, Glenmere is the perfect destination for weekend staycations. The spa is without a doubt the best spa I have ever been to. The hammam Moroccan ritual was truly an incredible experience. Overall I... More

After touring FDR's house and library and Eleanor's Val Kill home, we arrived at Glenmere Mansion and were welcomed at the driveway, greeted at the door and Bellini-ed at check-in! We enjoyed a stroll around the (snow covered) garden area and had a wonderful dinner at the less formal of the two restaurants. (great dinner, nice wine list). The room... More
