This is a nice cheap place. Rooms simple and clean. The new carpets and drapes give a crisp feel but that is the extent of updating this old property. It has no amenities except very good wifi for free. It is great to have a clean bed and shower for this price.

Stayed here for a night while passing through. The motel is older, but the room we had wasn't bad. The thing that drove me crazy was the person in the room above us. Stomping and pacing back and forth all night long all the way up until we checked out. Since the place is older, the sound was a lot... More

We just finished a couple of days at the Chatham Travel Lodge. This location in the Berkshires of New York state is beautiful. A second floor room gives you a good look at the treeline. Seats and cafe tables are available on the porch for a nice place to sit. It does overlook a lightly used, small local motorway (rte... More

I stayed here in July and i have no complaints! The room was very clean and smelled like soap. The view is beautiful, and the upstate new york sunset is gorgeous. There are delicious restaurants in town which is 5 minutes away from the motel. This is the only motel in chatham which is okay because this motel is worth... More

This clean motel with pleasant owners provided us with a reasonable place to stay in the Chatham area. If you want pretty views (especially in the autumn), request a room on the second floor. You are definitely away from city hustle and bustle. We like basic rooms at at fair price, and we were not disappointed.

We stayed there for one night after the Tanglewood concert a few days ago. This place needs a SERIOUS inspection from the electrical inspector of the town. There were loose outlets all over, half of the others were not working. Plugs upon plugs upon extension cords. The place was reasonably clean, but in serious need of a coat of paint... More

Eight of us on motorcycles spent the night on 6/28/2013 and were glad we did. The room was neat, clean and reasonable. The only thing lacking was a restaurant. A service station and a pick up food grill were across the street. We would recommend this travel lodge.

We booked this hotel to be nearer to family but wish we had followed through on our reservation at a Fairfield Inn (at a lower price) 20 minutes north. Room was tiny, if clean; the whole place very 1950s. The queen bed filled most of the bedroom area, lacked a bedpad and sagged in the middle. There was a small... More

Two story older motel right off the Taconic in East Chatham area. Basic rooms, good wifi connection. Rooms small, but everything was CLEAN. Very pleased for the price. Owners/operators pleasant and gas station right across the road.
