This inn has 14 rooms. The rooms are above the restaurant in a building that dates back to the 1790. Our room was very spacious. It was on the second floor. We found it quiet. The bed was comfortable. The hot water and water pressure were fine. A nice combination is to dine at the restaurant which has one of... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming little Hotel. I enjoyed the fact that the inn is tucked away in a really nice residential neighborhood, far different than the typical traveler's hotel stop. The room was clean and very spacious with a great view of the garden and Mt. Kisco golf course. I stayed during the Mothers... More

Dinner on Saturday night was a full house. The menu has some great selections and all enjoyed their meal. One at my table ordered a glass of wine and the wrong wine was delivered. After dinner we ordered coffee and dessert. The dessert was served but the coffee never arrived. It required two additional requests to get coffee served. For... More

My brother had been raving about the Kittle House's brunch, so much so that I HAD to make a trip out there and experience it... Well, I did today and I have say, if I hadn't I wouldn't be missing much and the $75 a person could have gotten me a 5-6 meals elsewhere that were just as good if... More

This review is prefaced by the fact that we arrived straight after a powdery blanket of snow had fallen, and with all of the Christmas decorations still up. The three of us were entranced to have found this gem at the last minute - booked only that morning. We took two adjoining rooms on the ground floor - wood floored... More

This is a British term that conveys the state of this Inn perfectly. The place is worn down and owners can't afford or don't want to spend to maintain or modernize it. At one time it was probably a very nice Inn but that would have been 50-75 years ago. Even the 'annex' a portion obviously built on to the... More

Arrived after 8 hour drive from toronto. Given a room with dead flies on floor and "something" on the sink. Called front desk. Apologized and moved me to a better room. Moved to better room. First thing I saw were two bugs on the wall. Pulled a chair out from the corner to stand on so I could kill them.... More

I grew up near the Kittle House many years ago and it has not changed much. We celebrated a birthday there in one of the upstairs rooms. The room was a bit dark and the table barely fit us all! The service was quite attentive. The only drawback was the brunch buffet line- with only one line for all selections... More

I've had the great pleasure of dining at the Kittle House for more than thirty years. It's one of my all-time favorite restaurants anywhere. Regretfully, even the best restaurants in the world infrequently have an "off night." Such was our experience on a recent visit to KH. However, that "slip up" was more than made up for with a magnificent... More

This place is gorgeous, an old Manor House with creaking floorboards, four poster beds, lots of old details and great views of the surrounding countryside. The tap room if beautifully decorated, dark and cosy with a fabulous food menu incorporating lots of local produce. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Thanks for a great stay.
