3 of the guests to my October 2002 wedding wound up staying at the Days Inn after their reservations fell through at the Best Western in W.
Coxsackie, NY. (Another place to avoid.) The rooms were clean, tidy, spacious enough.....but only if you pay for them once! One couple paid for 1 room in cash. Another couple's credit card was billed for 2 rooms and the third couple's credit card was billed for all 3 rooms! So....in the end, 3 rooms cost us 6 and a year and a half later, they still haven't credited my guests! We have provided them with receipts, credit card statements, copies of check-out sheets....to no avail. Every time we've called, we've gotten one of two stories. "The person you need to speak to isn't here" or my favorite "we've changed hands. There's nothing we can do about it." more
