Been to the Glen Iris Inn two summers in a row for my birthday. Our first stay was at the Inn where we discovered that we could rent the property's Stonehouse for a week the following year. This time we brought the kids. The house is situated just across the road from the picturesque view of the gorge. The kitchen... More

Attended for lunch which was supposed to be a "turkey" with gravy, well it was , sort of, it was a turkey processed roll, which kind of tasted like a can a spam ( if your old enough to remember). I was expecting Turkey Slices. Vegetables were ok and the potatoes were ok...but that's about it for the food end... More

For the past 41 years my husband and I have come to the Glen Iris Inn for our anniversary. We have stayed in many of the rooms at the inn and at the lodge. But by far our favorite is the Cherry suite. It is the only room with a second story balcony that overlooks the middle falls. The room... More

wow!! we has read that rooms were small and while they are it is more than enough for 2 people we did not feel crowded. Super clean, period pieces. we stayed on 3rd floor, not bad at all to climb no elevator, there are like 4 steps turn, 4 etc etc. small, low carpeted steps. Our room was 2 singles... More

Out for a day of hiking and we planned to stop at the inn for lunch. Huge selection on the menu, soup was excellent as was the salad. Large portions and the omelette special was great. Bring your entry ticket along and they will reduce your check.

My wife and I traveled 60 miles to have a dinner date (with each other) at the Glen Iris Inn. The experience began as we entered the beautiful Letchworth State Park. A long and winding road led us to the Inn. The building is a very nicely maintained beautiful representation of hundred year old architecture. While the parking is limited... More

Sure, the Glen Iris rooms are small, they lack air conditioning, and there is no wifi, but the Glen Iris Inn is an experience. Letchworth's own house, complete with its wonderful carved staircase, its unmatched location next to Middle Falls, and it's front porch (perfect for evening penny whistle playing), my wife and I had a wonderful time away from... Our room was approximately 100 square feet plus the bathroom--barely large enough to move around in and get our bags out of the way, and certainly not inviting enough to want to hang around in, especially given the absence of wi fi and virtual absence of cell service. The bathroom was modern and up to date, but the main room... More

Absolutely perfect! Desperate building but run by Glen Iris Inn. Nestled in some large pines and in view of huge waterfall! We left the window open all night and listened to the waterfall. Was MAGICAL! We did not want to leave! Room was VERY COZY and clean. Meals at the Inn we fantastic and could be charged to the room.... More

7/7/15 Glen Iris Inn, located in Letchworth State Park, NY within eye view of the middle waterfalls. Built as a private home in 1852 and later converted to an Inn in 1914. The Inn is only open from April to early November. Looking for an uncoupling experience, Glen Iris Inn “may” be for you. Letchworth State Park was voted the... More
