A return to the North Country was made that much more special with the warm hospitality and wonderful welcome by John and Donna. The Adirondack Suite was simply, perfect... everything in the room (and the overall main home) made you feel as if you might have been there before, in a dream of the perfect B&B, with beautiful surroundings and... From the soft and soothing Egyptian cotton linen to the multiple shower jets to the fabulous bedding, you won't find a more comfortable bed and breakfast to recharge and enjoy. The breakfast was so good my mouth is watering (for real) as I remember the custom omelette and thick, meaty bacon, expertly cooked to perfection in under a minute by... More

We stayed overnight at White Pillars and enjoyed an outstanding Mother's Day breakfast with Donna and John and other guests. Fresh squeezed OJ, custom made omelets, homemade granola, whole grain bread, cinnamon rolls and yogurt parfaits were all made in house by the owners. The breakfast conversations were stimulating and thoughtful. We had the most amazing room in the Craftsman... More

Coach John and Donna Clark are great innkeepers. Their lodgings are comfortable, stylish, and well appointed. It is not unusual for folks to sit in the study by the fire in their pajamas for coffee and conversation early in the morning. The staff keeps everything fresh and clean, and are great to speak with on a number of topics. My... More

My husband and I booked our room the day of and John and Donna were MORE than accommodating. The houses at White Pillars are gorgeous and have every amenity you might need. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the land beautiful, the breakfast delicious, and John and Donna are great hosts and conversationalists. We wish that we had been able to... More

A wonderful and warm experience awaits you at The White Pillars. John and Donna are gracious hosts to their guests and are extremely knowledge about Saint Lawrence University for any of you looking at the school with your children. My parents always stayed here while visiting me when I was attending St. Lawrence university. The place is truly amazing and the rooms are beautiful. And the breakfast is awesome to boot. I recommend it to everyone I know! Their website is also amazing, we've stayed at their camps on trout lake during the summer. Just a really wonderful family.

A St. Lawrence University alumna, my husband and I brought our daughter to Canton to tour the campus. Three of us shared a room in the lovely Craftsman house. Home away from home --but cleaner! Amazing breakfast. I look forward to returning and will spread the word to fellow alumni. Thank you!

My husband and I were able to get a room at the White Pillars for the Clarkson University Parents weekend. It was a wonderful experience. It was convenient and only about 20 minutes away from campus. John and Donna, the owners, were lovely. The room was immaculate and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, linens were top shelf, bathroom was... More

We cant say enough about how pleasant our stay was at the White Pillars Inn. Our room was in the in Craftsman House on the first floor. The owners know what they are doing. The bedrooms are well appointed and very accommodating. The common areas are inviting and cozy. Even though we were on a college move in trip, the... More
