We came out this way to have a weekend alone and to geocache on the Greenway trail. The Lodge was nestled 6 minutes away from the Greenway Trails and in between dozen of more caches and only 40 mintues from our home. While we were only looking for a quiet and clean place to get away the Lodge turned out... more

My husband and I had our first overnight stay without our daughter and were looking forward to a little getaway. The Lodge was perfect. We could tell Joe and Nancy really worked hard at making sure we had everything we could possibly need or want. Fresh cookies, drinks, hand-dipped chocolates, bath salts for the whirlpool tub, lots of extra blankets... more

This is one of the best B&Bs ever! It's a truly welcoming place, with all kinds of little extra touches that make you feel special--complimentary handmade soap, huge & luscious truffles beside your bed, fresh cookies every day. Plus a lovely, woodsy setting overlooking the Genesee River and a fascinating old bridge. I stayed for 4 days, working on a... more

The Lodge was absolutely phenomenal. Each of the 3 rooms had it's own bathroom, including ours that had a whirlpool tub in it! It was a very clean and comfortable setting, including two separate family room/sitting areas. The porch has enough adirondack chairs for everyone to enjoy a drink and listen to the birds while overlooking the river. The location... more

What a beautiful place!!! Joe and Nancy are the perfect host and hostess. Starting with the warm welcome as well as the warm homemade chocolate chip cookies to the truffles next to our bed and then the delicious made to order breakfast in the morning. It's a great place to kick back, relax and get away form the hustle and... more

After a day visiting friends on Rushford Lake, rather than drive home, we decided to stay at The Lodge, and what a great decision that was! We shared The Lodge with friends and were delighted at what it had to offer. The rooms were large, the beds were comfy, and the sitting rooms offered beautiful views where you could relax.... more

My husband and I stayed a The Lodge to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was a weekday and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were warmly greeted with a freshly baked batch of delicious chocolate chip cookies. Joe and Nancy are the owners and Joe was flexible, personable, accomodating, and an excellent cook! He helped us get situated... more

The Lodge is nestled in very gentle rolling hills and surrounded by both the sounds and scents of nature; including very close proximity to Rushford Lake. The Lodge is only minutes away from many of the great festivals making it a great weekend get... more
