Although it has been a long time since we stayed at the Acorn Inn, today we talked about the great time we had there, and decided to add this review. The place is simply magical, there is great attention to every small details, the decoration is charming, tand we had a great romantic night. If - in the future -... more

Stayed in Canandaigua for three nights and discovered this treasure. The inn is lovely and nothing escapes the keen eye of Sheryl, the owner and innkeeper. She and her staff do a fabulous job. Rooms are immaculately kept and there is an outdoor jacuzzi. Never have I seen such a complete travel kit as in the large bathroom (with a... more

The Acorn Inn is located about 5 miles from downtown Canadaigua. The rooms are very comforatable and the garden connecting the main house and the Barn Suite are quite lovely. This is a great place for a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast. Cheryl waited for us to come in past the normal check-in time to show us around... more

This inn is all the things that the other positive comments here indicate, and a testimony to the forethought and care of its owner. Rooms are exceptionally comfortable, breakfasts outstanding (and varied: we stayed for two days and had two completely different but equally delicious breakfasts), and general amenities (complimentary DVDs, books, snacks etc. ) well anticipated: there is nothing... more

This inn has just a few rooms but all the facilities that you could need and a perfect innkeeper. I was a bit concerned, at first, about the check-in time being earlier than we would be arriving, but Cheryl arranged for us to get in, and left us a detailed welcome note describing the amenities of the inn. There is... more

We could not have been happier with our choice of the 1795 Acorn Inn for our romantic getway from 3 sons! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and the innkeeper Sheryl was available to help us with every request. We left completely relaxed and happy ... and looking forward to our next visit. more

My husband and I came to the Acorn Inn after a six day conference and it was the perfect place to relax and be pampered. We stayed in the large and well appointed barn suite which has its own private garden area. There is a very handy kitchen area and lots of windows with lush garden views. Sheryl, the innkeeper... more

My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay at the inn. What a neat little B & B. Great find. We are choosey travelers and love to stay in places that have character and charm and this inn and Sheryl the innkeeper/ owner definitely have it. Sheryl has thought of every possible detail to make the guests... more

I had a wonderful one night stay at this Inn. I would recommend this as a nice option, if staying in the area. The Inn and rooms are beautiful and spacious. The Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. I was in the area for business and it is a little further away from Rochester that... more

We stayed in the barn suite for three nights in December. My boyfriend was a bit wary about staying in a bed and breakfast but at the end of our long weekend, he said he would definitely return to the Acorn Inn, and I completely agree. The privacy and quiet of the barn suite are amazing, we loved the feeling... more
