The first thing we noticed when arriving at Bristol Harbour, was the amazing views of Canandaigua Lake and the majestic hills that surround it. The room was extremely warm and cozy with its fireplace, comfortable beds, heated bathroom tile floors, and charming wilderness lodge decor, of which reflected throughout the entire hotel and restaurant. A few minutes after we arrived,... more

I was here for a two day business meeting. It has fabulous views overlooking beautiful Canandaigua Lake from both the main building and every guest room - each has guest room with a door to a connected balcony. The main building is very "lodgey" - like a big cabin. Lots of stuffed wildlife. The room was nice with Adirondack-style furnishings,... more

We spent one night at the Bristol Harbor Resort and enjoyed it very much. We arrived after a rainy afternoon of wine tasting to find these lovely rooms, warm and welcoming with fireplaces and heated floors in the bathroom. Really nice. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both meals were delicious. Even with the fog rolling in... more

Stayed only one night at this resort. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great value for the price. Lodging included a great dinner, full breakfast and a bottle of wine. View from our room was awesome. We had a fireplace, AC, great interior design and even a heated bathroom floor. Would recommend this resort to anyone. You won't be disappointed.... more

We went to the Bristol Harbour Resort for 2 days for our anniversary. The pool was dirty both days we were there. The resort is not right on the lake, it overlooks the lake. The beach/marina was accessed by driving down the road and taking an elevator. It was nice to walk around there when nobody was there in the... more

My wife and I went for the golf. Nice course, back nine much more scenic than the front, course in fine shape, but why do people not know how to repair ball marks? In early June, during the week, before the peak holiday season, the course was not very busy. GPS in the carts was helpful, but did not work... more

My wife and I just returned from our 2nd weekend getaway at Bristol Harbour in as many years. The hotel is great. Very quiet, clean, huge rooms, cool furnishings, in room fireplace, comfy beds, heated bathroom floors...what more can you ask for? The hotel restaurant is decent. The food could be better, I suppose, but the service is good and... more

I have stayed at the Bristol Harbour Resport twice in the past two years and have enjoyed it each time. We have picked a quiet off-season mid-winter weekend getaway package. It's quiet and rustically luxurious. The rooms are delightfully furnished in Adirondack log furniture with heated bathroom tile floors. It is spotlessly clean. A gas-log fireplace faces the super-comfortable bed.... more

Front desk help was not much interested in making us feel welcome. The view of the lake from the room is lovely, but definitely distant. The deck off the room is one big long porch across all rooms -- no sense of privacy whatsoever when you're sitting out. And you will eavesdrop on conversations from rooms with open windows whether... more
