When looking for a B&B in Canadaigua, we landed with The Red Door Inn. The website showed charming rooms and an elegant exterior. Arrival showed that the exterior could use a bit of work, though; but nothing that a little paint and time couldn't remedy. Upon arrival, we met our hosts - very pleasant indeed. A friendly couple very willing... More

My husband and I stayed at ‘The Red Door Inn’ in Canandaigua this past weekend and have nothing but positive things to say about this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The Owners Kevin and Kathryn are extremely warm and friendly and make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. The accommodations boost modern amenities, mixed... More

We stayed at the Red Door Inn on a recent long weekend get away. We had nothing but a positive experience the entire time. The inn has been restored by the owners, Kevin and Kathryn, and the attention to detail is apparent throughout. Modern amenities blend well with historic features. There is a hominess without being casual and graciousness without... More

Stayed here in the winter while skiing at Bristol Mountain. It was a wonderful place to call home for a few days. The host and hostess were so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfasts were lovely - with starters and a main meal each day. Rooms were spacious with very modern bathrooms. The house has... More

My boyfriend and I just got back from a weekend stay at the Red Door Inn. It is an absolutely perfect place to stay if you're visiting the wineries around the Finger Lakes or just looking to relax and get away from it all. We stayed in the Field room which had an amazing Jacuzzi tub and a rain shower.... More

Owners are friendly, the bathrooms are amazing! Super close to town. We stayed in the Fields room. Rainforest shower head, jacuzzi bath tub, comfy beds, fluffy towels. Carson room was the best only e cause it was a bit bigger than the Fields room and had a fireplace. All of the rooms are quite pretty. Price was ok, a tad... More

Lovely 200+ year old house that has been converted to a bed nd breakfast. Kevin and Katherine Carson are very friendly hosts and make you feel very much at home with a glass of wine in front of the fire. Much of the conversion has been done by Kevin himself and what a fine job he has done. We stayed... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Red Door Inn. Kathryn and Kevin are hilarious and very welcoming. We chose the smallest room, but it was plenty of space for us. Very comfortable bed -- slept great! The house it beautifully decorated, and the porch is fantastic. Highly suggest enjoying a glass of wine on the porch during a... More

We did not know what to expect and were delighted with the Inn. It is well located on the main street but the rooms were very quiet. The building is a very well restored 19th century structure. The proprietors take pride in what they have done and they should.
