We were looking for an inexpensive motel to stay while we vended at a local craft fair. The Berkshires can be expensive so we thought $125/night was a decent price. The location is good - right off the Mass Turnpike and the road noise is not too bad (although you can hear the train go by a few times a... More

We return to this area to visit family, and this motel appears to be improving. The motel is newly re-sided. Our room was clean, with a new bathroom floor. It does not aim to be upscale, and isn't--no hair dryer, fancy soaps, etc. though it had a fridge and microwave. They served breakfast, but we did not try it, as... More

My husband and I went up to the Lebanon speedway for the night of fire and we needed a place to stay for the night. We decided to stay at this place since it was so close to the track, but we made a HUGE mistake. We actually contemplated leaving and driving home after we walked in the room to... More

We booked this Motel because it was close to our destination. It also looked not too bad from the pictures. I don't know who took them, but it definately did not look like my sparce room that I stayed in, The room was musty, looked like the ceiling light was dirty (we shut it off as to not have to... More

We're finishing (we'll check out in an hour) a two day stay and we're feeling good about rating the Berkshire Travel Lodge as very good. The Positive: Although the highway is in view and mildly audible, if you just raise your eyes, the view is very nice. There are deck chairs available to use outside, and across the parking area... My husband and I spent one night here on our way to Boston. The location was convenient as it was right off I 90. Other than that the bed was like a rock and I used a sweater under my head instead of the pillow. The bathroom was pretty beat up looking and there were cob webs here and there.... More

I recently spent 4 nights at the Berkshire Travel Lodge. I was staying there for work. The room was clean and warm. It had a decent size fridge and a microwave. It is very noisy sitting up above the highway and the train comes through at least twice a night. The breakfast was ok and quick...because I was the only... More

We stayed here for 4 nights over Labor Day weekend when most other places were charging $250+. We had a family event and needed 4 or 5 rooms. This was reasonable. Not fancy or "special" but just fine - rooms were clean, adequate, and office was informative and helpful. View is gorgeous and there are sitting areas to enjoy it... More

My mistake. Should have inspected before I paid. Had always assumed "Travel Lodge" was equivalent to a "Holiday Inn" .....was I wrong. The room was dirty. I wouldn't walk on the carpet in bare feet. The room had a strong odor of mold, found it very hard to fall asleep. Glad I brought some Vick's with me. I place a... More
