The motel has a very friendly atmosphere and home away from home. Room was clean and with all amenities needed for a longer stay. The owner was very courteous and willing to go that extra step to make your stay pleasant. We reserved a room in a year advance and will continue to do so. Rates are reasonable if not... More

I spent a night here while cycling the Erie Canal Trail, Albany to Buffalo. Whenever possible, I avoid big chain motels, from Super 8 on one end of the spectrum to Hampton Inns on the other end. They're OK, but lack character. Small, older independents on the other hand can be dreary and sometimes scary. Not so for Motel Thomas.... More

I have stayed here twice. I would rate it as average. nothing is ratty, but blankets and such seem a little older than at your average place. Everything seemed clean. The owner makes her own crafts to sell at various festivals, so they have home made soaps. The owners also are friendly and attentive and keeps the place clean. I... More
