Every stay has been enjoyable. The staff is friendly and helpful, the variously decorated rooms are clean and appealing, the food is excellent, and the rocking chairs on the long porches are particularly inviting on warm summer nights. more

Service was warm and friendly, in large part because a local family has purchased the renovated hotel and is trying to make a go of it. The room was spacious and well-furnished and quiet. The Cambridge hotel offers lovely rooms furnished with semi-antique pieces and fine dining in the evenings. The Continental breakfast of cold cereal and toast is disappointing, however. The price of an overnight stay would be justifiable if this hotel were in a large urban center. Given its actual location, it is not. more
