Hills Country Inn is deserving of an amazing review but I secretly don't want to share this location! My mom and I needed a place to stay for two nights during a recent trip to Sullivan County. Amazingly, I heard back from the Hill Country Inn, four days before our departure date that there was availability. I am so happy... More

Relaxing, clean, comfortable and Ela makes a breakfast that can't be beat! Lovely area with really comfortable beds! We came up for the weekend to attend a family wedding and were delighted with the accommodations. DON'T MISS BREAKFAST!

Wonderful relaxing place and Ela is wonderful. She accommodate our group with delicious breakfast and lunch. We had the best weekend here. My room was perfect. Each room on the first floor has a different theme and color. I was very comfortable and feeling at home.

I have been coming to Hills Country Inn for years and years, and have always had the most wonderful experience! Fresh mountain air, beautifully appointed rooms with great attention to detail that are both functional and comfortable. Whether you're heading to a concert at Bethel Woods or laying your hat after a day of heaving shopping at Woodbury Commons or... More

I needed to stay overnight while visiting my daughter at Stagedoor Manor. It's a 30 minute drive from the camp along a bucolic country road deep in the mountains. When I pulled into the driveway of Hills Country Inn and stepped out of my car, I breathed deeply, smelled the air, and basked in the most wonderful feeling of peace... More

This B&B is a tucked away gem that is worth staying in when visiting the area. From the intial booking until the end you are made to feel welcome. Ela the lovely sweet owner, even greeted us outside! She is knowledgeable about the local area and provided us with maps on how to get to Bethel Woods to avoid concert... More

Inn is about a 30 minute drive from French Woods performing arts camp but is in a nicer area and is a much nicer place to stay than anything we've been able to find close to French Woods in the five years we've been coming to this area. Our room was done in a pleasant simple country style, very clean,... More

Every year, I have a meditation retreat for 20 participants in the Catskill. This year, it was at the Hills Country Inn. I have been doing this retreat since 2007 and this was by far the most aligned 2 days and it is due to the extraordinary hospitality and impeccable service of Ela and Walter at the Hills. The setting... More

The Hills, is localed on Main St in Callicoon Ctr, NY. Set back from the road nestled among the trees. The pool will remined you of floating in a mountain lake.. in ither world.. the water is cold like a mountain stream. The resort is indeed a step back in time. To a time of no cell phones, when you... More

This Inn is 24 miles and a very easy drive from French Woods Perfoming arts camp. I stayed here during Parent's weekend and it was a wonderful place to escape to after long visiting days at the camp. Ela, the proprietor is lovely and helpful. My room was air conditioned and very comfortable and clean. Mattress was great. Rooms are... More
