Stayed the night before Thanksgiving after last minute busniess trip with Wife along. smallest room. It did not disappoint. the unique rock and partial octagonal structure lured me after passing by several times on various trips on Rt 20. I mean 1849! its seen it's upgrades, renovatons and repairs but its original character is right there before you and under... More

We've stayed here several times. Route 20 used to be a busy thoroughfare but is no longer. We reserved ahead of time but rooms were still available on our check-in. We have stayed in the same suite each time. Real large, with sitting room as well as large bedroom. The TVs are old style rather than flat screens, the furniture... More

Fabulous find after searching this rural area of upstate NY for a one night stay. The large suite of living room and separate bedroom was comfortable and clean...the bed was very comfortable and the antique furniture and stenciled walls added to the ambience of this wonderful family run inn. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the dining room below last... More

Had a special Surprise Dinner here. The Food was good. The staff attentive. Everyone at the Party seemed to have a good time. There seemed to be a line at the bar after the Dinner. Not for drinks, but to pay for the ones they had before everyone showed up!

My husband and I spent a night here before packing up our daughter at school and absolutely loved the place. The staff (3rd generation) is friendly and the food is delicious. The room was spacious and clean and the entire establishment is filled with charm and history of days gone by. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Just returned from an excellent weekend at Colgate University. Stayed here because places closer in were booked. Was only a 5-7 easy drive to the University. Stayed in the two room suite which was quite spacious. Breakfast was ready every morning and the blueberry muffins were just delicious. Will stay here again when we are in town.

What an incredible place. Hospitality and food fabulous. Rooms are as they should be for the B and B experience. Never expected this quality of food and service in such a remote location. A must stay for a reasonable price.

I first stayed overnight at the Landmark in the 1990s, motorcycling across upstate NY on my way to Nova Scotia. It was a cold, rainy day in early May and although I'd intended to stay in Utica, when the Landmark suddenly appeared ahead of me in the drizzle I realized I just couldn't ride any further. Although a soaking wet... More

This was a place we had not visited in 15 years. So delightful on a Sunday evening; the restaurant was so clean and the food was divine. I had the rack of lamb with pilaf and harissa sauce. My husband had cioppino with pasta. The service was great, no one hovering. I liked everything about it, even the view out... More

Sometimes I like to treat myself at the end of a day traveling. This filled the bill nicely. The inn was built in 1850, and has been operated by the same family since 1970 (at least according to their flier). I had dinner, and a single room. This is definitely an inn, and not a hotel or motel. Dinner was... More
