Well this is my stay here in a nut shell... Driveway is horrible.. Don't clean it well, hope you have good tires. Found a HUGE beetle in our room, and garbage left from past visitors. Looks like blood or something nasty stained down side of mattresses. Don't look forward to your free breakfast.. As I'm writing this it's still not... More

The owner and his affiliates have no concern for how the customer feels about their stay. I have even contacted the BBB and they didn't respond. We had ZERO water pressure in the bathroom sink, and NO HOT WATER. Since part of a hotel/motel stay is to be able to clean up (AKA hot water for a shower, etc.) I... More

Headwaters is definitely not the Taj Ma Hall...... But it is a clean, outdated motel with a comfortable country atmosphere and a friendly staff!!! We stayed a long weekend and snowmobiled right from the parking lot to the trails, plenty of room to park the truck and trailer too..... There was an issue with the hot water and the owner/manager... This would be a nice place but... Very out dated and NOT a drop of hot water, if there was an opening at another place I would have left . We didn't shower for 2 days , the only thing we could do is do sponge baths in the sink ... After a long day of riding your sled all... More

We stopped here in a rain storm. The empty lot should've been a clue. Room was stale and smelly, beds were saggy and there was torn holes in the carpeting and dead earwigs next to the bath tub. If the weather want so awful we would have motorcycles to somewhere else. Definitely not worth the $75 we paid.

I have tried pretty much all the hotels in Forestport , Boonville and the Adirondacks area including Lyon falls . I Travel for work to this area very often. I always come back to Headwaters , just because is a quiet hotel y love the beds the rooms and the green area around the property. it is close to the... More

If there had been hot water in the morning, I would have given this a 2 star. The place was booked full (two weddings in town I guess) and we showered late, so not hot water - which the maid told us was common. Other than that, the bed was hard, the pillows thin (luckily we bring our own), the... More

After all the bad reports, one would think this place would be closed down...but because Boonville hasn't any good overnight facilities, it is still able to attract customers. Most are like me, though...very dissatisfied with the accomodations. I've never stayed at a hotel that withholds TV remotes and alarm clocks for your rooms until you check in...and then you have... Beds are very uncomfortable. There is NO hot water at all, toilets don't flush and had to ask for toilet paper, and no shampoo for the shower. Would not have stayed but it was the only room available in the area. Never again.

This is an old motel that caters to snowmobilers and itenerant utility workers. The rooms are as clean as they can be, considering. The carpet was totally threadbare, the wallpaper was peeling, there was a faint cigarette smell. But the bathroom was clean, the shower was powerful, the TV worked and had lots of cable channels, the bed was clean... More
