2nd time visiting this resort. We were sad to see our first room, over looking the parking lot, dark and small, but one call to the front desk fixed our problem. We were upgraded to a lake view suite w/fireplace! What a difference. This is more like it for the steep prices we were paying. My sister & I only... More

After hearing so many wonderful things about the Sagamore, we were looking forward to a quiet night of beautiful views and relaxation. The hotel grounds and room were beautiful and extremely clean. We asked to be switched out of our first room (a Governor, so we would have a view of the lake) because the adjoining room had a very... More

We just returned from our stay at the Sagamore. We booked a lower level lodge suit, Becuase it was off season they gave us a free upgrade! The room was beautiful! It had a balcony with rocking chairs that overlooked the lake. It was also very modern and super clean! We took the free cruise around the lake. It was... More

Just spent two nights at the Sagamore, my wife, me and my two parents, separate rooms. We did not stay at the main building but rather chose the one bedroom suites with a lanai overlooking Lake George. We had a great visit; the rooms were spacious, and well equipped. The small kitchen is enough to support a family, living space... More

We stayed here Sept on the 25th, 26th and left on the 27th. I had made our reservation in July for a Walk In Lodge Suite with the Engagement Package which included champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. (As opposed to the romance package which did not have that, but included a spa treatment). I was a bit concerned about what... More

I just returned from The Sagamore for a 40th birthday celebration with a group of friends. We were ten adults and nine kids. We could not have picked a better spot. We stayed in the lodges, which is the ideal accommodation if you have little ones. We had so much fun. Our rooms were big one bedrooms with fridge and... More

Called an hour before arrival on a whim to stay here for two nights after being a Lake George visitor for years. American Express did the booking by phone, advised Platinum members may be eligible for an upgrade. Booked, and they hooked me up with the steak house for a last sitting reservation. Arrived about 20 mins before dinner, went... More

My husband, 11 yr old son and I spent four nights at the Sagamore in late June of this year. We wanted to take our son somewhere for a few days before his leaving for sleepaway camp. We had visited the Sagamore five years earlier, where our son fished for the first time and loved it. We hoped to repeat... More

My husband and I stayed at the Sagamore Resort over the weekend of July 8-10. The resort was very crowded but we stayed in one of the lodges which was very quiet and comfortable. I cannot say enough about the meals at the Sagamore. The breakfast buffet was superb. We had two dinners, one in the Pavillon and one in... More

This is without a doubt a top class hotel. Perched beside beautiful Lake George the views are just spectacular. The staff are very helpful, and are always on hand to assist. The room we had in the hotel was large, clean and had everything you needed. With all reviews the real question is would you come again? Easy a big... More
