My family has been going here before I was even born. Over 55 years! This is terrific place, not a high priced resort like the Sagamore. But the real deal -- the true blue Lake George Experience. Close to restaurants and right next door to the most special cultural experience you can have at The Sembrich. Experience the "real" Lake... More

This was our first experience in Lake George. We were drawn to the fact that you could dock your boat right there. The pictures online were so much nicer than the real deal. We stayed in a cabin right near the water. The view was beautiful. That was about the only nice part. The bathroom in the cabin was small,... More

We stayed here for two weeks last summer with our kids and dog. We had a pleasant experience with both owners (sisters) and their family as well as meeting others who stayed at the resort. The rooms are older, but we weren't there to stay inside a room all day. We were there for the lake and outdoor amenities as... More

My family and I have been going to Twin Bay Village for years and have always had a terrific experience. My 5 star review does not mean it is a five star, high end resort like the nearby Sagamore, but refers to our experience with the owners, the pool, the proximity to the village of Bolton Landing, restaurants and Chic's... I am very surprised at the reviews below painting the owners as rude. These ladies could not have been more enthusiastic and welcoming throughout our stay. They were informative and fun, and treated everybody in our group(s) respectfully. We had two groups staying in separate rooms, and both had a great time. My kids loved the pools and the resort.... The rooms smell moldy and furnishings are outdated. rooms are dark not enough lighting. Not enough outlets either. Owners are rude to say the least. The towels are like drying yourself with sandpaper. 2 people could not take a shower in the morning as there is not enough hot water for both! The offer wifi but you have to be... More

This place is awful. Nothing has been updated since 1975. How hard would it be to install white toilets? The gross green carpet and uncomfortable beds will make anyone's good time turn bad quickly. I was never offered house keeping that was supposedly offered. Not worth the money paid.

The lady who booked our reservation over the phone was nice. However, when we arrived, the owner (assuming it was the owner) was the rudest and unpleasant person I have ever had to deal with. We had a visitor pull up to the empty parking lot, simply to unload some bags and coolers. She quickly yelled at us stating our... More

This place could be good. We stayed in a cabin. There was 1/4 inch of dust on the air conditioner and under the beds! The toilet seat was broken (they did fix it the next day). The shower had no place for the soap! Once we cleaned the air conditioner and opened the windows things got better. The first impression... More

Before we went there last year we run into reviews on the trip advisor. All of them were either excellent, or terrible. Nothing 'normal' telling me that there is some 'war' going on in here. My wife, anyway, was very, very upset with these comments, and till we arrived was pointing out at every 'vacancy' shields telling that this or... More
