Have been coming here for 8 years now and absolutely LOVE this place. Family oriented, friendly with all the amenities you need, Prospect Point does it all great. Cottages are the best with upgrades every year. Private beach with swimming area and free kayaks, rowboats and canoes. Weekly campfire, talent show, tea party for the kids and a welcoming ice... Stayed in the Walnut. Clean, well equipped, nice screened porch, kitchen and bath fine. Bed mattress dipped in the middle. Wished we had stayed on the more expensive side with better views: Wilson, Balsam, Birch, Poplar or Hemlock which clearly look toward Blue Mountain. The cove side cottages face the local marina but view was still decent. Would like to... More

Sitting here on my porch at Prospect Point Cottages, I don't know what the bookcrazies from New York City (below) are talking about. I love books, too, and New York City, but I also have been coming to these delightful cottages every summer (and some winters) for years now, and I couldn't be happier with everything here. The cottages are... More

At $200 per night, I was expecting that the cottage would have had working lights, unbroken screen porches, and, for that matter, a clean porch. The fireplace had not been cleaned of ashes; there was broken glass from a fireplace door still there. The grill had not been cleaned out. The wifi is laughable. If you need to be connected,... We are sorry that Prospect Point Cottages did not meet your expectations.  Our cleaning crew is usually top notch, going through each cottage with a checklist of tasks.  Working lights and a clean fireplace are at the top of our list, and we're very sorry that these were neglected before you arrived.  Our manager has already spoken with our crew to make certain... Cottage on the water with screen porch, fire pit, picnic table and grill outside, roomy living room, bedroom with very comfy bed, full kitchen with stove, frig and micowave. We had all we needed! The grounds are just beautiful. A lot of work goes in to keeping those gardens looking so good and we appreciated it. Lovely lakefront beach with... More

we spent Memorial Weekend in LOON LODGE with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren ages 8,7 and 4. It was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were excellent. The view amazing. The balcony heavenly. It was close to the playground and beach. Also the boats which we used. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sooooo good! We did... More

My husband and I stayed at PPC in January to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. And while our stay was amazing, there were a few hiccups! For the bad stuff first, our cottage wasn't completely winterized. The toilet pipes kept freezing, even after having a space heater run 24/7. Our bathroom was constantly 90 degrees, so it was uncomfortable in... More

In the middle of December my daughter's family and I traveled north from Philadelphia to the Adirondacks to have some family time and play in the snow. The cabins at Prospect Point in Blue Mt. Lake were warm and cosily lit with holiday lights and decorations including a tree. We had cooked-to-order breakfasts each day in the beautifully decorated library.... More

I don't want to give too much away as I feel like I discovered something amazing! I have to start with management. Alene is lovely woman (Manager of the PPC) and a sheer pleasure to work with. The Oestreicher family - all of which are most gracious and entertaining - are all delightful people! David shared his extensive knowledge about... More
