I had a friend when i was a kid who lived in an old victorian style home in the country. There was nothing new about the place. The paint was cracked in more places than it wasnt, the screen door spring creaked when you opened it as did most of the floor boards, and it was heated by an old... More

This is a fantastic place for large gatherings at a very affordable price. The fact that it's located in the most beautiful place on earth is a huge plus! My family has stayed at The Inn many times over the years for family reunions and large gatherings. Since you can rent the entire Inn, you don't have to worry about... More

Spent a night at this charming old inn. A work in progress but has some wonderful old world charm and great views of the lake. Beds were comfortable. The innkeeper was warm and friendly. Good continental breakfast. A real privilege to be able to stay in such a original antique inn, and Meredith was charming & generous with her time... More

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. I would definitely never return and do not advise anyone to stay here. It was an overall terrible experience. First of all, the house was built in the 1870s and I don't think it has been renovated since then. All the rooms smelled old and musty. The paint was badly peeling... More

I stayed 2 nights at the Blue Mountain Inn this past weekend. The sheets and towels were clean, but that is the only good thing I can say about this place. The house itself, the furniture, and the amenities were ancient. There were holes in the walls, paint peeling off of everything, linoleum floors torn and curling in places. It's... More

I highly suggest not staying here for the following reasons: 1. There were holes in the wall that looked like bird nests. Instead of repairing these holes, the holes were stuffed with various things. 2. The paint was peeling and chipping off the walls. I also have a strong suspicion that it was lead paint based on how old the... More

The one star is for the young lady that is the housekeeper and cook...she provided a nice breakfast while the 4 of us were staying the 5 days. But obviously the owner of the Blue Mt Lake Inn could care less about anything else that occurs on his property. I'm not new to this area. I've been staying on this... More

Had a great time on an extended weekend at the Blue Mountain Lake Inn. Most of our time was spent in and around the lake. Across the street from the inn are two great features; a public beach and a place to rent boats (http://boatlivery.com/). Based on the previous review I was a little concerned about the inn itself. Inn... More

Good location, but an absolute dump. Holes in the walls, furniture reminiscent of a collegetown apartment, and not that cheap. They charge on a per person basis, so cheap for 1 not good for two or more.
