Even if you are not staying here, make it a point to stop in for breakfast. The price is one fixed rate, and you choose from many options, all of which are delicious. I recommend making a reservation the day before.

We found the hedges accidentally over the summer. We fell in love with the grounds and the property and staff and decided to have our wedding there. Pat, Sue, Keri, and the rest of the staff are wonderful and know exactly how to run a perfect resort where you feel all at home, have all the beauty and natural setting... More

Truly a lovely spot on Blue Mountain Lake in the heart of the Adirondacks. All of the accommodations are clean, quiet and nicely decorated. We have stayed in the cabins and in the main Lodge. Their breakfasts and dinners (included in the tariff) are excellent and are enjoyed in a century old lodge with canoes and moose overlooking your repast.... More

Fantastic historic lodge and cabins! We stayed Sunday-Tuesday Columbus day weekend. We had Cabin #2, which was cozy. We were concerned that the closeness of the cabins would be noisy or that the neighbors would smoke, but it seems that guests are very respectful of the peace and quiet of the setting. Bingo was great fun on Sunday. The lake... More

Dear Jessica, Thank you so much for your very honest and candid observations during your stay with us at The Hedges Camp. I regret that someone in the Dining Room did not mention to you that we do offer picnic basket lunches. These made to order lunches are pre-ordered during dinner, to be enjoyed the next day. I have also... More

Comfortable rooms, friendly efficient staff, many waterfront activities, great views and fabulous food make this one of the nicest vacations spots in the area. You will not be disappointed. A nice variety of rooms and prices.

This is one of the Adirondack Great Camps built by a Gilder Era striver that has become an excellent hotel in a place for all who enjoy the outdoors and activity. It is designed both for families and all other visitors. Hearty breakfasts and well prepared dinners are included as are kayaks, canoes and bicycles. There is a swimming beach... More

......it's the best Adirondeck experience! We have come here for about ten years every September or October.....we have stayed in the big stone house which is lovely but prefer the space and quiet of the cabins.....which are more like cottages! Although they are very special, we prefer the space in the Ice House....larger, little kitchen area and two queen size... More

Met with family we hadn't seen in years at the Hedges. We were a bit late and happy that our family had gotten out in the canoes on the lake already. We loved the restaraunt staff who accomodated us earlier than expected at a really nice table. We enjoyed the beach outside of our cabin that evening for an amazing... More

We just returned form 3 amazing days at the Hedges on Blue Mountain Lake. From incredibly friendly staff, to impressively maintained grounds, and Adirondack charm in every corner of every room, this was simply an amazing experience. If you want to get away, relax, hike, row or swim in crystal clear water than this is the place for you. We... More

The Hedges is quite beautiful, it's like staying in a museum. The food and service were great. I was particularly impressed with the availability of water craft, kayaks (single and tandem) canoes and row boats. My only suggestion for improvement would be to clean up the beach where young children swim. While we were there were many ducks swimming, eating... More
