We booked a room at this hotel last minute, to cut our drive in half from Philly to Niagara Falls. First of all, let me just say I have read some inappropriate comments in reviews of this place. We arrived at night and it is an average area with older home near a high school. My wife and I felt... more

The room was small, but clean. It is obvious that they are renovating, which is good.It needs some repair and updating. The best thing was the staff, especially the night clerk ,Franklin. I would stay in a yurt if he was the front desk manager! I drove up from VA to join my mother (from TN) for a family reunion near... more

I travel all over for my job and I stay at a variety of hotels. I actually really like the Day's inn of Binghamton. Its not in the greatest of the neighborhoods but I have never had an issue. Would I walk around outside the hotel at night probably not. But why would I anyways. The staff has always been... more

We stayed here for a friends wedding. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bedding is of high quality and the sheets were very comfortable. The common areas are a bit run down(especially the elevator) ....but hey who cares. We were 4 of us and stayed in a room with 2 queen size beds - for a total of $60... more

We had a great stay at the Days Inn in Binghamton. The hotel is in an older part of the city with many fine old houses in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds, heating/cooling, and many furnishings are new and are well maintained. They also had a great continental breakfast with make your own waffles.... more

I arrived this hotel at 10pm, around the hotel likes so poor and no security, in midnight, a blare noise from the truck, waked us up. No recommend strongly. more

Where do I begin? 1. Old building, smells musky 2. Where good complimentary breakfast is not almost common, there's is continental at best. 3. Old crappy TVs 4. Cheapest towels imaginable 5. A/C Heating has off and unstoppable 6. After spending 4 room nights and having a very long night in traffic, we got in at almost 6am. With an... more

I would like to sincerely apologize about you experience at The Days Inn of Binghamton. Generally we are only strict with late check-out policies if we have a full house coming in, and the rooms need to be prepared by housekeeping. I will make sure to review this with the staff. I would like you to contact me personally so...

We drove up to the hotel (which is in a very run-down neighborhood downtown) at about 10:30 at night, and found two very intimidating-looking men standing outside of the lobby smoking. Were they guests or locals? It didn't matter to my wife and son, who were scared and refused to get out of the car. I drove to the back... more

I was expecting the worst and hoping for the best. The reviews here were pretty scary, this hotel was quoted as being in an "undesirable location" or "in the ghetto". Some reviews discussed the odors, paper thin walls, & loud neighbors. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is in downtown Binghamton in a very old part of... more

The first thing that troubled me right away was the surrounding area. I felt like we were in the ghetto. We drove for some food and we both felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The fron desk person was very pleasant - no complaints there. The lobby was okay - very urban. After we checked in but before we brought our luggage... more
