My SO booked 2 nights at the Swann Inn as a birthday weekend getaway and we stayed in the Red Room. This wasn't the best B&B I've stayed in but we still enjoyed our visit. FYI, the Red Room is on the first floor right next to the front door and breakfast room so it can be a little noisy... More

Called late afternoon on a weekday for a room that evening and the innkeeper was very accommodating and friendly. We stayed in the Blue Room which has a newly remodeled bathroom that is large and very clean - nice shower and a clawfoot tub.

When we drove up the dirt Road, and came to the house, we were a little concerned. When the Innkeeper came out to meet us, we wondered what we have gotten ourselves into. But once we walked in, we found one most beautiful rooms, comfortable stays, welcoming inn-keepers, and lovely breakfasts ever! And all for a very reasonable price! Have... More

First of all, I really appreciated finding a B&B that was willing to house my (very well behaved on the whole) 4 year old daughter. The house, grounds and location are idyllic, being at the foot of the gorgeous Mount Beacon. Lovely clean room, tastefully decorated with brand new bathroom. The garden is very cute and my daughter was delighted... More

This is really a tail of two B&Bs. Was the best of times, it was the worst of times. The rooms appear clean and the breakfast was very good and the owners very helpful and accommodating. However, we stayed in the end of May and it was very, very hot outside... the rooms had no air conditioning and it must... More

All of our rooms are air conditioned and now every room has it's own bathroom. Every year, we take on a new restoration project for our home. This year, we installed a beautifull 4 piece new bath room in the Blue Sky Room for our guests comfort. More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Swann Inn. We got driven to and from the train station, and got a tour around town—Neil gave us recommendations and was very accommodating the whole time. The breakfasts each morning were unique and wonderful, and the Red Parlor room we stayed in was beautiful. I'd just make sure to get back to... More

Wonderful hosts. They pick you up from the train station and give you rides into town. Also, there's nothing like a home made breakfast -- french toast and bowls of fruit and yogurt. Neil (the host) also leads tours to Bannerman Castle later during the year, alas we will have to come back.

The Swann Inn of Beacon took our booking at the last minute, and our host Neil came and picked us up from town. We had a drive-by tour of the township, with Neil pointing out good places to eat and things to do in the town. The house is a 5 minute drive from Main St, right near the entrance... More

We had a lovely time at the Swann Inn and the owners were more than gracious in every aspect of our stay. Aside from being clean and warm, the Inn had many creature comforts we were very pleased to find such as home made cookies in the evening and a fully stocked coffee/tea bar! We intend to come back again.

We stayed in the tranquility suite, which is the family room with own bath and more spacious. The hostess was very professional and helpful on the phone when we booked it. Bed: Soft and comfortable. Heating was quite toasty too. Nice thick toilet paper. Lighting: Unfortunately the days we were there were a bit chilly and overcast so we were... More
